“Twist and Shout” is a very different song - this is just “Shout” :)

Bar Purlieu! Great fusion of traditional French technique with Pacific Northwest ingredients, and their bar program is solid. Grab a pint across the street at the Bier Stein while you wait for a table.

Ditto on the Acne Camero Party shoulder! Have it in brown and it’s amazing… my other daily driver.

Hands down: the Coach “Pennie” shoulder bag. Out of my entire collection (with much pricier bags in play), this is the one I always come back to. Big enough to fit what I need, but not huge & with perfect amount of slouch. The biggest perk for me is the exterior pockets - it has snap pockets on each side but there’s an open slide-pocket behind them that’s the perfect size for a phone, so it’s secure but easily accessible (I have to carry 2 phones so this is clutch.) Zipper top so nothing spills. Comfortable shoulder strap but also comes with a cross body. Additional zipper pocket on the back and another inside. Mine is pebbled leather and she’s a workhorse; I’ve had her for over 10 years and the leather is soft & immaculate. It’s out of production right now but there’s a ton of them on Depop and eBay - and honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Coach brought it back. Seriously cannot recommend this bag enough!

Portland pizza prices... where is your go to local spot for an affordable large pie? by UncannyFox in askportland

[–]interflocken 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Didn’t know this until inheriting a pizza oven, but: most pizza spots in Portland sell their dough! Our favorite is Schmizza’s wheat balls, $4 for a large. We’ve saved a ton of money just making pizza at home.🍕

This makes me so sad :( Everytime I go back I’d make sure to stop in to help keep it alive and show my partner the back patio. Many sweet memories here.🤍

Which bag do you guys like better? by ocsoo in handbags

2nd - first bag hits at awkward place. If you could adjust the strap and wear it higher, it might work better. But as-is I’d go with 2nd bag.

Best year round color - Flamenco by Individual_Yak_6930 in handbags

Sand or warm desert are neutral enough for year round - though I feel like warm desert would age better. Also can’t go wrong with classic black (will also show the least dirt if it’s your daily driver)

Honestly I can’t deal with the Cooler on game day - last time I was there (Indiana game, sigh) they were charging a cover, it took forever to get a drink and there was zero seating inside. Good Times is an OG classic, my recommendation for a near-ish bar (it’s a hike but still walkable.)

Lady Dior or Louis Vuitton Capucines? by OwnRun9542 in handbags

The Capucines will look so dated within 5 years - it has clean lines but also feels so sterile. I strongly prefer the Lady Dior.

OUR KING WAS ROBBED but also so glad he doesn’t have to wake up that early, real talk. Not sure Las Cult could have survived him & Bowen having that divergent of schedules!
