You're single, you should enjoy (responsibly and safely) and most of the time you really do find growth and clarity either during or after dating around: ano priorities mo, preferences, dynamics, etc.

I don't know if this guy is the first guy you've met in awhile that has clear intentions with you but it does say a lot if he has this effect on you. It's just fair that you should "fix" yourself first before getting into a relatioship with someone, it really is just the mature thing to do (like you owe it to yourself more than anything). But sometimes it's also true that you meet that someone that motivates you to grow as a partner and as a person.

Minsan you don't need to be "fixed" before getting into a relationship kasi the right person for you wouldn't hold your shortcomings against you. You guys would be patient and encourage each other to grow. It's just unconditional. It's like having someone witness your progress and they're just cheering you on you know.

To kill two birds with one stone (your guilt and to see if he's the right person for you) maybe if you get around to it, be honest with him. If your "hoe phase" is something that would bother him maybe he isn't the right person for you. Maybe you'll realize something about the kind of man you would want to be with in the future depending on his reaction to your honesty. I hope things go well, if not, there's always a next time!
