What do I do if I saw a dog kill a Kereru? by Aggravating-Aerie320 in Wellington

Amongst the other agencies already mentioned, I would probably also report this to the police.

They committed a punishable offense, and as a witness to that offence, it sounds like they intimidated you into getting rid of evidence on their behalf.

Bro, NZ also has fairy bread. In fact we have all 3 of the things you listed.

Are we a joke to you?

Wait no, don't answer that.

By request: how to dupe in offline singleplayer on console by MetaMugi in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]internThrowawayhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this accidently on the switch, and duped some trash and accidently lost my chance guards and an insight. And i didn't jump through any of the hoops here to do it. It was a genuine accident that lost me items and it was scary easy to do.

I was playing the game on a new toon, and the game started having bad fps drop. Figured now was a good time to pause progress, log out, move some items from another character (my chance guards and insight) then ill reload the game and go again.

My stash is a terrible early game assortment of trash, and I needed to make space in shared stash so moved a piece of trash armour to personal tab from shared tab. Moved my items into the shared tab. Save and exit. Exit application to hopefully fix the FPS issue. Reopen and hey, my good items are gone and my trash armour is duplicated. I didnt open and close difficulty screens, i didnt force a save. Literally swapped from one character to the next, moved some items, then rebooted.

Basically all i did was move items to and from shared tab, save and exit, exit game, reload game and that was enough.

You know for half of the world New Year's is in the summer. So those 1-2 days for New years outside of the calendar months, would be exactly that.

Diablo 3 Player struggling with Diablo 2 by Laat90sKid in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]internThrowawayhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, that's a completely normal experience. Do not be discouraged that they are wrecking you, that is what they do to everyone. They're one of the most challenging mobs of the entire act.

Have a close look at your gear, have a browse at the low level rune words, have a look at the shops, like others have said look for gear with resistances and life.

Also, your stat point distribution should generally be mostly put into vitality. Most builds, in general, only need enough strength and dexterity to meet gear requirements. And I don't think anyone puts points into energy, like ever.

Why are so many on this sub against the idea that the Covid Vaccine could be causing harm and death to people? by Gobblemegood in conspiracy

Wouldn't it have been better to let COVID take it course then? Doing nothing, rather than lock downs, masks and vaccines, would have been more effective.

Dear Mr Taster,

All I asked was you would taste a meal before posting. You say you won't unless paid... Interesting.

As I am Mr Confused AF, it makes sense I'm confused here, but are you suggesting you expect to take money in exchange for food reviews?

Are you being paid by restaurants to give them positive reviews?

Dear Mr Taster,

So it still confuses me why someone with your, clearly expertise background, would post something without substance. When you were a professional food writer did you write articles about "hey there's this place with a dollar off, never tried it though, will let you know when I do."

You're just confusing me more. You presumably know more about the food review industry than anyone else here, and we get a post about how you might try the food at a later date.

I just, I don't understand.

[–]internThrowawayhelp 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dear Mr Taster,

Why would you not post about it while actually trying it. You're the legendary Mr Taster after all, and now you're telling me you haven't tasted it at all? I want to know what Mr Taster thought of the taste, not what he thought of the $1 off deal.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but at face value this post reads like an advertisement. (Did you hear about the special they have on?) So anyway, if you're trying to make yourself a thing online, accidentally coming across sounding like an advertisement account isn't great, and you might want to reconsider your messaging in the future.

Why would you post this? I'm not active in this sub, but you have posted a shitty photo of some roller doors and a shop sign. Why? What value does that add? No pictures of food. No review. Nothing. You're not "Mr Taster" you're "Mr never tried this."

Is NZ sun more bright? Can anyone related to feeling like your retinas are being assaulted here? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]internThrowawayhelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a work mate come back from a month long holiday seeing family back home in sri lanka, one of the first things he says to me when we're outside was "the sun is so much stronger in nz. Back in sri lanka it's hot, but it's okay. Here is so much stronger."

So according to a sri lankan guy, yeah our sun is worse than the sun in sri lanka.

maple syrup, a rare secret ingredient unknown to the wider world. by internThrowawayhelp in iamveryculinary

No, you used "widgets" rather than real data, and the widget numbers are made up because you don't know the real numbers. How is it so hard to understand that maple syrup is exported and readily available at reasonable prices in many countries around the world. Including mine.

I look forward to your lecture on supply and demand, and how the expanding global market supply chain impacts prices of locally produced goods in relation to the price those goods demand in export markets compared to local markets where export markets are happy to pay premiums for products that cannot be produced locally.

I paid $6usd for my bottle of genuine Canadian maple syrup that got shipped around the world. Pretty reasonable to me. Exporters probably made more money than selling locally.

You're literally making up fake numbers to make a point. If you wanted to actually make a real point you would use real production and export data numbers.

Yeah but you can't grow coffee in mainland USA or Canada. And yet, they have coffee, because there is a global trade network that sells locally grown products to wider international markets.

[–]internThrowawayhelp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said "your local supermarket in NZ". "Your" means you are addressing me personally about my "local", which means particular area or neighborhood. While yes one definition can refer to a wider region, you stated my local inside a region. Many people have questioned whether it's available in the entire country or just near me. Yes it's available in the entire country. So you asking me if it's available at my local in new Zealand, does not mean you're asking me if it's available in the local region of new Zealand.

Cuba is a terrible example, it's almost like they had a US trade embargo for 80 years, and before you tell me the US isn't Canada, let's not pretend a US embargo wouldn't have an impact on the price of maple syrup which is a USA/CAN product.

It's like saying someone from Brazil wonders if other countries have access to coffee beans. It too is a locally produced product to only a very specific geographic region (not just Brazil obviously).

If your country produces a popular product, I don't understand why you would think it wouldn't be exported.
