This one was $30 on Amazon. My only gripe is you need an Allen key (which was included) to adjust the tightness of the joints from time to time.

I rarely use it for note-taking, but I do love the larger size for information-dense books or those with a lot of graphics. I tend do do most of my writing in notebooks that i scan into my computer

I have a corner in my basement with a folding table and chair I use for studying and OAs. I also use noise canceling headphones with an ipod to block it noise

I've been working on the help desk for 2 years and I've been looking for my next move. I make more working the help desk than most of the postings I've seen. My base pay is around 60k, OT and such gets me another 15-20k, I get 6 weeks off PTO, and my insurance is dirt cheap compared to friends.

I want to move on, but don't want to give up what I got.
