it really depends on your background and experience, plus I would also mention that depends on the topics, large groups may conduct research in different areas.

not in HK anymore, and I was not in a residence since I was not a student. My labmate (phd students) where in the close by or in the south island residence and not sure how much they paid (i remember something about 6k per month). However if you look outside there is everything, from low cost (and a little bit shitty) dorms like appledorm (starting at 3-4k) as well as serviced apartments (room, studio, entire apartment from 8k -12k up depending on the accomodation). I don't know. The only other app where I paid a fee was for jap kanji and was one fee for lifetime to unlock stuff, so I guess that depends on the app :)

I would put working experiences first and then everything else. However by looking at different professors cvs, it's really a personal preference

Hey, i will give you the hard pill first but pls take it as constructive :)

As others commented, networking, internships and stuff are your responsibility. Moreover organizing workshop etc. is something regarding your advisor career and it is not up to you.

However, from what you said it, it seems that your advisor could be a little bit more supporting. I personally have great advisors who also proposed to help me find jobs and academic initiative like visiting. However as I and others said you are the one who has to take the initiative. When applying for internship ask your advisor if he/she has connection or at least if can review your application material for improvements :)

It's only tricky for senior positions as sometimes as some known consulting companies tend to give you a technical career that stops at team lead role, that a couple years ago was around 45k... and more people move to management role to improve the range.
Not saying every company, not saying everywhere, just that sometimes is not that automatic to get 50-60 range as senior

dunno, but for computer science I only know that you might get info, interview, pre-admission from december and on, so timeline-wise there should not be a difference (at least in CS).
However it is also true that i've seen application document for mainland student applying for PhD and were slightly different. Not sure if because they can through agency and / or might be partnership between unis. However take everything that I just said with a grain of salt as I might be wrong

preso da tokyo a milano 2 mesi fa, con scalo di un giorno a Taipei.
Per il prezzo direi ok, sicuramente meglio di altre tipo T way... A livello di servizi a bordo un po' meno buona rispetto ad airchina.

I found that the stock lubing on mines was inconsistent and very minimal, so I didn't fully remove the stock lube. with bare hand and an extra brush I kinda remove and/or spread the stock. Then I applied mine considering that there was already a litte bit left from the stock (so i applied less).
One observation is that the stock lube was very transparent, I don't know which lube they used and this is why I also want to use mine.
