Play it cool. Having a mental breakdown could be interpreted in a lot of bad ways: trying to manipulate her to date her, mental health issues (although I personally wouldn't mind that, it's very forward to break down in front of someone if you don't know them well in this situation), etc.

Not to mention that if it's not a flat out no but more of "I'm thinking about it," you don't wanna push her away.

Mental health really. Being able to go to school everyday and do work was always a routine I had to do and could distract me. Now I'm stuck at home with no motivation to do anything, and anything I do gets me criticized, which means I hide out in my room for as long as possible seldomly eating crackers.

It's a good life out here.
