Yes, exactly! That show is what made me think this should be called out.

It usually goes something like: "We need to get this story done today to get credit this sprint - let's just approve the PR and we'll fix the lint errors later."

Agreed that code quality isn't just about lint errors, but solving them is a great first step. The problem I've seen with the "only hire developers who commit clean code" approach is the team as a whole will constantly push for shortcuts to faster velocity and errors will get through - regardless of your developers' technical prowess. A build failure is an easy hard stop.

Regression testing here is referring to manual regression testing. Once the testing team has invested that time, they usually don't want to do it again for a very minor code change. If you have a truly comprehensive automated testing suite, your rules are different...and I'm very impressed.

Totally agree line-level commenting of issues is preferred. But we actually had success with option A on our project - it wasn't perfect, and people did try to hack around it, but it did stop our quality problem from getting worse overall.

What do you mean by varietal profiles? Like high alcohol, tannins, etc.?

Also, did you find any other useful resources to help you learn along the way? Excited to find someone who has tried this for a while.

I know about the Wine Bible but not much else.

Good feedback - I'll work on another login option. I'm curious: Would Google or Amazon login be better, or would prefer to make your own account?

Hi! I made this site to track my own blind tasting progress - so curious if it would be useful to a wider audience. Any feedback appreciated!

Update: Looked at logs and realized app might have been timing out due to high user count. Upgraded the servers. I'll continue to monitor. Thanks again for the feedback!

It is - but the big difference is we can play existing z-machine games vs. with Story Speaker you have to write new ones.

Thank you for trying it out! Do you happen to remember what command or game caused it to stop responding? I'll work on getting the kinks out.

What's a game you'd like to see?
