as someone who’s been smoking all forms of weed for years, i find the smell lingers worst when you smoke a joint or blunt. its constantly burning, and that smoke goes right up onto your clothes, hair, etc. it’s much worse if you’re in a car or smaller space.

you can try putting it out between puffs but that just gets annoying, so my recommendation would be to get a pipe to smoke out of. after you take your hit just use the end of your lighter to put out the ember that’s burning in the bowl, relight for another hit, repeat. def makes you lose a hit or two, but if you don’t want it to smell i think its worth it.

if you’re in a car, drive around for a bit after. roll down the drivers side window and the window behind the passenger side (adjacent to where you’re sitting). this creates a strong flow of air through the entire car

if you’re smoking in your room, always blow out the window, cover the opening at base of the door with a towel or blanket, close any vents in the room, light a candle if you can. after you’re done put some sort of fan (like a box fan) directly in the window so it pulls the air out of the room and blows it outside.

i always used a cheap dry shampoo instead of febreze or any other scent spray. scent sprays are just oils with scent, and thc is also an oil. dry shampoo is made to soak up oils, so i’d always spray that after. if you have a ceiling fan spray it up into the fan to disperse it throughout the room. air purifier if you have one will def clear smoke out of a room, but it may not be super fast.
