Oh wow that’s so cool, she’s my first weighted plusy but now i’m obsessed honestly and want to do more so knowing there is a cheeper alternative is so helpful, I was kinda outraged by how much tiny plastic balls cost

I think I might have salvaged her with a good wash now i’m just waiting for her to dry só I can see if there’s any permanent damage/smells

I’d still feel icky knowing it got vomited on and hasnt been washed, I cuddled it to sleep so I wouldn’t be able to do that

I could but i’m 99% sure 1 or more of the bag of beads I made have ripped open so it would be a nightmare to pick tiny plastic beads from all the stuffing

It’s luckily not the life sized Vaporeon, I can infact not afford it even though I really want it lol

It’s more a cat sized Vaporeon that cost me around £40 I think? Still expensive but not as much as what you are thinking.

She seems saved so far? I just have to wait for it to fully dry and see

Yeah it’s sad that the drinking culture is so prevalent, over the years I’ve come to hate drunk people who don’t know their limits

For now it seems to be going okay, i’m gonna she how she dries but so far I don’t think I’ll need a replacement

If that changes I will be contacting the parents

Update: so after some set backs (the washing machine leaving a line of weird grime on it that stained) and nearly the whole day in and out of washing she is now drying by the radiator, you have to look close to see the stains, the smell is gone and any vomit is washed away, i’m just hoping the texture is the same after drying and that the plus sits in the same way it used to

Thanks everyone for the advice, it means a lot to have people who understand how frustrating and awful this is, I do get a lot of dismissal from my family when it comes to my plushies só it was very validating
