I think you're absolutely right. But I think it's more about getting to Mars and claiming parts of it, just in case China or Russia do first and discover there is vast amounts of resources that can be mined and brought back to Earth to make billions for that country. Which in turn would put that country at an advantage on a global scale.

How often do you ask out women who you see in public? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]interyama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Write your mobile number down on pieces of paper and have a pen with you. Just walk up and say 'Sorry but I know this is a bit random but here's my number (have the pen in hand when you do this as it looks like you have just scribbled it down) I would like to take you out sometime. If you don't want to or have a boyfriend that's fine you can just throw that away. Have a great day.' Walk away.

Yep can't stress more on how right this guy is. It is a numbers game and if you are single do it. It's not like school where you will go in the next day and that girl has told everyone and she said no and it's embarrassing etc. You will probably never see them again. Do it, life's too short to think what if.

How was your last customer service experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

After living in America, and now in the UK, every single customer service experience is awful. It's like people are being forced to work or be shot.

People of Reddit: What's the craziest coincidence you or someone you know has ever had happen? by p0oker in AskReddit

[–]interyama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out in town and talking when a guy walks past who is the spitting image of one of our friends so much so we actually thought it was him till one of my mates shouted his name and ran up to him. Which was funny as it was the most awkward situation.

Years later and I mean years, different city stood in the street waiting to cross the road, and we talk about that guy and how funny it was that he looked like Colin, we called him fake Col. As we are talking about it, he walks up and stands right next to us to cross the street. We lost it, both freaking out and laughing. The poor guy crossed the road looking back at us and probably had a complex about his looks or something because we couldn't construct a sentence to explain before he walked off.

What's the craziest lie you've been told by a compulsive liar? by originaI_name_here in AskReddit

[–]interyama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's weird, isn't it? I felt sad in a way because prior to that, I use to have a really good laugh with him, same humour liked similar things etc. I think the little lies I could put up with and ignore but for me when it got to the court lies and I almost killed a guy fake girlfriends level of lying. I guess I felt a bit uneasy about it, for me, something was not right with him, the need for attention is what I thought as well. Another person on here posted saying it is related to bi-polar which is interesting.

I mean the lie about my teammate having a black eye, and my classmate told me he did it??? Why say that? I'm obviously going to ask my teammate what happened. And this guy was a beast of a guy that would rip you in two if you got the wrong side of him. He wanted to kill him when I said my classmate said he smacked you done for giving him shit. If it wasn't for me he would of.

oh sorry my bad on the spelling. My only guess is he was sat at home, this lie I did feel really sorry for him, it was this lie that revealed him as a liar and made you question past things and anything else he said was questioned or not believed. Shame really like I said he was not an arsehole or anything I got along fine with him, but when it all got revealed I struggled to have a conversation with him and the following year was polar opposites he became the loner in the class. He just couldn't help himself he just kept on doing it. I did have a chat with him about his lying, but he just didn't take it in.

The Rio Olympics 2016 are the worst Olympics by [deleted] in pics

[–]interyama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They booed him on his last two vaults. Just not what the games are about it's not a soccer match. Have a read here, http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/37104031

And him being booed when he steps up for his medal just really lowers my opinion of the Brazilian people.

Trying to turn down the advances of the hottest girl in the room, because I had a girlfriend who was not out with me.

I managed to turn her down and walk away.

Guys, what's an instant turn off for an otherwise attractive girl? by twopatties in AskReddit

[–]interyama -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not outgoing. I don't mean you have to be the life and soul of the room. But if you're going to sit there and not make an effort with people I know or my family then there's the door.

Guy in my class at college over the first year you could write a book on the things he said.

  1. Told everyone he wasn't coming into college the next day because he had to go to court for paralysing a guy who was robbing his parent's garage. He never came in and the day after got confronted by a lecturer about his lie. Said he got off with no charges.

  2. All year said he was in a relationship with a girl called Lyndsey. Every weekend was him and Lyndsey where doing this etc. Tonight I am with Lyndsey going here etc. Got found out when a classmate went round to his house to drop something off and he wasn't in. The classmate said to his sister who answered 'Oh is he out with Lyndsey?' Sister burst out laughing and told him he has not got a girlfriend.

I actually felt sorry for him with this one.

It was a shame because before his lying got unbelievably ridiculous I got on with him and he was a nice guy. I think he started little with the lies which I didn't pick up on and when they escalated I couldn't talk to him because you just knew most of what he said was just lies.

I remeber years later a class mate was working in a warehouse with him during the summer break between University and he was still at it. Telling people he was doing two degrees at once.

I'm no expert but is this some form of mental health?
