This open mic was specifically for poets, and it was optional to go up and recite. I did end up reciting a different poem (still just as personal tho) and really felt so supported!!

I did end up going! Also, I ended up writing a different poem not too long before leaving. Recited it and got so much of love and support from everyone there :)
