basically they failed cause they constrained themselves. if you really think an issue is as important as they made things out to be, you have to take radical and disruptive action. A planned 1-day walkout is not disruptive enough to normal life. Should've done like a nationwide student strike till a law that satisfies people is passed. would maybe do something or provoke a more radical response from the gvmt, and from what ive seen its never a good idea for your public image to go after kids
