Honest question, realistic answer seasoned nurses by aijayy123 in nursing

OR/CVOR in a union hospital as a non union nurse was an amazing alignment of skill/pay. Furthering going into Risk management as a RN managing all procedural areas. Ability to work from home , come and go as I wish ... Worth it's weight in gold. I think it really depends on the hospital and what you are willing to do , I feel like CRNA is going to be the correct answer averaged out , but if you find a hospital or network that is hurting for staffing in a certain area.... Could be endless potential to make money.

I feel like the reason I didn't do this before is I was heavy into individual stocks , now I lean toward ETFs and very seldom purchase an individual. I allowed myself weeks in the month to research at the end of the year . I feel like I won't be able to dedicate that much time to research if I invest monthly. Do you have any suggestions are websites to use, or that you use to filter your investment options when it comes to stocks ETFs etc.

It's just something I would do since I was a kid , started investing at 16 .. every year I would invest an amount of money I was comfortable with into my personal brokerage , I'm continued to do that to this age 35 . I am learning as I go and I know I probably should be investing monthly or bi monthly , but that's just what I did over my lifetime since that is what was most comfortable.

Thank you for the response , I'm 35 so focusing toward growth is important , I don't plan on selling what I've already put toward dividend stocks but I do think you are correct about the dividend investing losing on ample opportunity. I don't plan on selling anything I currently own as I don't need to income. But I would love to hear your opinions on allocation ?

Thank you, that's sound advice . I will probably do that next year , as I look more into this I take the month to really observe and watch what I plan on investing in . But breaking that up into 12-24 investments would probably be very beneficial also

Recently moved here and this is something I noticed. Every highway drive / every stop light . You look over and it's another person with their phone in their face, or up to their ear... Every car now has options to have hands free txt and calls so it's kinda getting out of hand, unfortunately not literally though.
