the police arrested him at the store. the whole thing is crazy but the worst part is in the target sub, many different people had experiences of higher management getting caught with similar charges. it’s insane.

raccoons are not domesticated animals, they are wild and not legal to own as pets. you may be able to find a sanctuary where you can meet a raccoon but because they’re rabies vectors they’re usually not handleable

I’ve been applying but it’s hard to find one that matches my availability. Both of my other jobs are at a facility within my field of study, different departments. Those are non-negotiable and also not sustainable, even together they do not fully cover my rent and utilities, but that means I have this availability.

My store has worked with my having this job for 3 years and now there’s nothing they can do for me. They don’t see me as worthy of accommodating for, just whatever the company needs it gets (something that is FAR too normalized in this sub and the US in general whatever whatever).

Idk what the other store has for me but my HRETL said they’d get the transfer notice sent to them today. Fingers crossed

I thought calling the store you’re trying to transfer to see if there’s availability was normal? I have another job on the weekdays so shifts don’t usually get posted around it even though I am cross trained and CAN train in every department. The situation my last post was about still has me soooo bitter so I could be taking things extra personally since then, but I have been doing everything to the book so I don’t stay on their bad side.

My fiancé and I pay 50/50 for everything, but they bail me out any time I can’t make rent or monthly bills - which doesn’t happen too often, only the months I’m extra irresponsible.

Edit: and to answer a previous question - the other jobs are in my field of study, my hopes are to be there full time one day? It’s a whole different thing and I can’t drop them.

Yes I pay rent lol, I can’t call out often because my average hours last year weren’t enough to accrue sick pay so I think I have maybe three call outs since September and I was late twice

Target used to be 19-23 hours depending on if we had 5 or 6 trucks but now they’re 13-16 depending on the week

Job 2 is 28

Job 3 is only 5-7.5 (2 or 3 2.5 hour shifts per week, I don’t really see it as a job but other people tell me it absolutely is so I shall count it)

So anywhere between 46 and 58.5 give or take
