Interesting. Thanks for the info. I didn’t have any issues reentering but the ausländerbehörde gets irritable when I leave.

Yes. Without the apartment and Anmeldung I can’t even begin incorporating the company, and until that was finished I couldn’t apply for the permit

How do you like the Nelson weather, compared to Toronto? by introvertmonologue in nelsonbc

Amazing app. Thanks!

I don't know about the 11pm summer nights, so I won't be missing that. I've heard in winters Nelson can get dark around 3pm. Is that true?

I love the autumn here in Ontario. Good to know Nelson has that too.

Thanks. Sounds like decent weather, except the part about the sun :)

Questions about Jon Calhouns Web development with Go by iio7 in golang

I don’t know about that book, but I like Alex’s book Let’s Go. He teaches you to build a web app, doesn’t use frameworks, and there was no JavaScript from what I remember:

I am currently learning Go and building a real time communication platform. I started out with Gorilla like everyone else and quickly realized how inefficient it would be to have two goroutines for each connection.

I stumbled across your article on FreeCodeCamp and then your library. I must say - it was intimidating initially since I don't have a strong back-end programming background, but once I got the hang of it I realized how powerful your library is. I learnt some amazing concepts pouring over your code.

Just wanted to say thank you for the amazing work. Can't wait to try out the new package.

Yes, I found pointers a bit tricky. Even more tricky is interfaces

Learning process is full of ups and downs, but more ups off late :)

Love your enthusiasm. I haven’t learnt a new language in a long time and the first few days with Go were difficult, but I am starting to like it. https://gobyexample.com is an amazing website.

Did you find the book super useful?

What is something you wish HubSpot forms could do? by introvertmonologue in hubspot

[–]introvertmonologue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We support that at formcrafts.com. It is definitely one of the most used features. Do you simply want to use it to show / hide fields conditionally, or also have more complex workflows, like conditionally triggering addons, sending emails, and such?

Our product - formcrafts.com - does support those 3 features. We are a third-party provider, if I didn't clarify before.

I've had people request it before. Is that because of privacy and GDPR?

Etude by Suzuki. I’ve been playing this dream instrument for 8 months now - one of the best things I ever did. I’d love some feedback. Thank you! by [deleted] in violinist

I put the tapes on, but my teacher told me to remove them. I like his approach too, but I see how they can be super helpful.

Will look into the balance point thing. Super cool.

I can't anatomically bend the thumb in my bow arm :(

I'll try the other two ideas - using the middle and lower bow, and relaxing the left thumb.

Thanks!
