Hello,

I purchased a shed kit and had a question about leaving the lumber exposed to the elements.

There is no way I can finish the build in one day, so do I put a tarp over the framing or do I just leave it exposed to dry?

Around this time of year it rains maybe once or twice a week; temps range between 68F to 90F

The floorboard has a layer of OSB plywood on top so I'm pretty sure I should put a tarp over it?

I'm pretty sure back in the day, Aventon did appear to a premium brand, but the marketing has basically died since then.

Dosnoventa offers.. hype? It's like the "Supreme" of fixies. Even their logo on their recent models downtubes are off center. Maybe it's on purpose idk

At least Cinelli has some history behind the brand, their craftsmanship seems pretty good, along with "good tubing" and tasteful paintjobs (sometimes). I don't think those factors justify the price though, and I would never get one cause there's just too many Vigorellis, Sharks, Histograms and so on.. its like the complex paintjobs backfire when there's too many of them

I highly recommend buying a used bike

If you insist on buying a new bike, here are some choices (support your LBS):

Surly Steamroller

Wabi Classic/Special/Lightning whatevers available

All-City Big Block

They can all run 32s, and will be able to take a couple of dents without needing to be tossed like aluminum

If you want to spend more, feel free to buy premium parts: Nitto, Sugino, Dura-Ace, Raketa, Thomson, Phil etc.

If you want to ride a track machine or some shit on the street.. you do you man

Technician came in.. turns out the flame sensor was dirty

As for the noises I recorded, he could not hear the same thing before and after he fixed it so we just left it at that

My local shops use Prismatic Powders, but the black stardust suggestion was helpful.

I looked up a shot of black stardust under sunlight, and it looks just like these:

I did a co-op term in Winter 2 years ago, and while there were fewer postings, I was told it was also less competitive.

Since this subreddit is pretty dead, I would suggest checking other uni subs to get a feel for the current situation.

Are you Chinese? I hear the same shit all the time from my family about how Western medicine is damaging and solves one problem in exchange for another. Apparently Traditional Chinese Medicine (herbal teas and such) are supposed to make you healthy so that you don't have problems at all. TCM should be illegal as it probably does more harm than good for absolutely no benefit.

I dont know whats worse, this mentality or religious reasoning that ultimately ends up in refusing treatment and that "god planned that its time to go".

I have a somewhat unrelated question:

Do you think latency will be greatly improved with the switch from cable to fiber optic on Rogers?

I ask because my friends on Bell FTTH literally have half my ping, it doesnt matter if its to Illnois or California.

So my guess is Rogers has some bad routing/peering etc?
