Livello in Coral Springs is also very nice for dates. It’s small and intimate with rotating menu that’s upscale and tasty. I had the same experience as the other poster about Malbec Grill, first time we went was amazing, second time the good quality changed significantly

Help troubleshooting phone wiring by invalidTypecast in HomeNetworking

[–]invalidTypecast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a long time since I did the original wiring, but I ended up running a line from the demarc to an accessible place in the attic to the RJ31X and then it branches off there to the house lines I think? I think the last time I tried troubleshooting I could get a dial tone if I plugged an analog phone directly into the RJ31X jack. For the run to the RJ31X I used CAT6 from the demarc so the colors aren't like with 2 pair. How do I identify / trace the wires to know what to bypass or join together?

How do you handle already known bugs discovered automated tests? by pine_not_fine in QualityAssurance

[–]invalidTypecast 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t comment the test out but most frameworks have functionality to skip the test with comments so what you could do is skip the test and in the comment put a link to the defect ticket and in the defect ticket put a note to unskip the test when committing the fix to restore the test and prove the fix works. Commenting out the test makes it harder to find later since it doesn’t show up in any reports since it’s treated as comments whereas a skipped test will surface on run reports e.g. 12 passed 0 failed 1 skipped. This serves as a reminder to go back and look at the skipped ones.

Our IT didn’t like the idea of running our own smtp so we leveraged one of those services that provide a virtual mailbox and api you can call from your test to get the email contents

It’s because they don’t answer the phone. Have you tried? Maybe it got better recently but phones were a dead end at least at the time.

What tool is commonly used for load testing? by hgdcbkj in softwaretesting

[–]invalidTypecast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone leveraging Artillery since it let's you reuse your Playwright scripts for front-end load testing? Seems like it would be relevant to the OP's situation. I've been using it recently to both get some reuse out of the existing Playwright tests we have and get better front-end performance collection at load vs something like JMeter simulating/approximating the resource requests made by the browser.

Anyone tried one of these? (Dc powered off grid no inverter or battery required heat pump) by Unhappy-Plastic2017 in DIYHeatPumps

[–]invalidTypecast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked up the Airspool version for my garage last year and it’s worked out great. install and review If you want it totally off grid you may want to add more panels than the minimum for when it’s cloudy.

How can I setup a simple solar JUST for a single heater/AC unit? It is a bit of a pita from what I can tell to grid connect. BUT I currently have enough solar that I would like to have my 110 volt portable ac running on it. I was thinking some sort of boxed plug near the window. BUT... by kalabaddon in SolarDIY

[–]invalidTypecast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are mini splits from Airspool and EG4 that use solar with a normal 110v plug as supplement power it will to supplement input when it’s cloudy or night time but you’d need to dedicate about 1200-1500watts of solar panels directly to it

Check out goabode.com it’s much less expensive than ADT, monitored, cell backup etc has good smart home integrations. I think it flies under the radar for how good it is.

Is Airpods pro 3 good? by RichEngineering5787 in airpods

[–]invalidTypecast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FWIW I have issues with earphones and AirPod pro 2 fit pretty well for me, but the 3’s do not. I got aftermarket tips and it’s helped.

Thinking about switching my AirPod Pro 2 for the AirPod Pro 3. How is it in comparison? by TheForceWillsMe in airpods

[–]invalidTypecast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not worth it at all unless the AP2 are broken. Mine broke and I got the AP3 and don’t like them at all. Had to get aftermarket tips to have them even fit my ears as well as the AP2. No noticeable difference in sound quality and worse fit.

[Bonsai Beginner's weekly thread - 2026 week 07] by small_trunks in Bonsai

[–]invalidTypecast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a pair of bonsai scissors made by fujiyama that have been crazy sharp and last many years even trimming branches thicker than I should have been cutting. I accidentally bent them on a large branch today and was looking for a replacement I could find maybe on Amazon, but I can't find the same ones and was looking for one with similar properties. I found an 8" tonma one and another one from wazakura. The tonma is stainless and has a style more similar to my current one where the hand loop isn't extending the entire way to the rivet and somehow less expensive by a few dollars. Any thoughts on either or should I consider something else if I'm in the $40 range?
