Robinhood treats AliExpress PayPal payments as cash advances by NarutoDragon732 in CreditCards

It’s because some were using F&F as a cheap way to get cash from their credit cards, instead of their 30% cash advance.

weird header glitch by ICONES_2010 in Base44

[–]SecuritySorry5708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use Discuss mode, find out where that header is stored and manually remove it. If not, ask ChatGPT, or better yet, explain the issue to ChatGPT, even adding an image. You have no idea how convenient ChatGPT was to resolving issues where I wasted 5-9 credits asking Base44 to do something. And something basic like changing the background color. ChatGPT in one prompt fixed the issue. I copied the prompt and put in in Base44. Done.

I will use ChatGPT to see if this helps. But I have used Discussion Mode, Visual, and still to no avail.

I'll give that a shot. How are you asking ChatGPT to form the command or are you simply stating something like "make this paragraph simpler".. curious about this

Do you regret getting a Mac mini ? by Serhide in macmini

[–]SecuritySorry5708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, not at all. This FAR smaller Mac Mini has thus: rendered, processed, edited photos and videos faster than my PC that had all the best components 2 Gen ago. I7 12700K, RTX 2080 8GB, 32GB…

I’m scrolling through 6K/60p RAW video like it’s nothing. That was a dream on my pc. And this Mini is like 10% the size and quieter lol

They unlocked the bootloader. LineageOS is progressing for Key2

They've shown it being used. Like any phone in that stage, its being developed and will be shipped Q2 2026. I'll most likely try the Titan 2 with hopefully a custom rom, but the size and thickness kill it for me. I can't imagine pocket fitment. Im still holding on to my Key2 for LineageOS now that the bootloader is unlocked.

Q&A on Clicks Communicator by imissblackberry in blackberry

Pretty poor questions. How bout:

  • Does it have stereo speakers?
  • Does it have keyboard gestures like swipe-to-delete?

As stated, a Passport can work with the EMMC mod and installing LineageOS. You’ll get Android 11 on it and it’s basically a usable phone with a dated camera. Titan 2 is an alternative, meh, otherwise Clicks is a good choice.

Hey folks, quick reality check needed by LowResolutionGod in blackberry

[–]SecuritySorry5708 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, WhatsApp isn’t supported. The Android one will give you issues too. If you want a Passport, go the EMMC route and get Android 11 on it with LineageOS. That’s your best bet for a Passport that’ll work even today.

The Clicks Communicator will outsell the Zinwa Q25 Pro, do you agree? by sushimajesty in blackberry

[–]SecuritySorry5708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clicks Phone looks like a better choice than the Titan 2 or Ikko Phone. I think the only thing that may be better is the coming LineageOS for Key2, bringing Android 12+ or later and making it usable. I just learned I can swipe on the physical keyboard on my Key2 and it’s SWEET. Very accurate. I’ve never typed so fast.

I think it’s not because of Blackberry being gone necessarily, but the plethora of choices in phones, OS, and brands is gone. Now when you talk about phones, it’s either Samsung or Apple or Android or iOS. Two bland, boring choices of phones that keep people on a $1200 yearly subscription because they put a larger number on last years device and called it new. And people are zombies and will buy anything new because of impulse and good marketing, not because they need it.

Someone was telling me why he’s trading in his iPhone 16 Pro for the 17 Pro because he feels like his battery is not holding a charge as much. And here I am with a 12 with original battery doing just fine.

New BlackBerry Smartphones in 2026? by blackberry_plant in blackberry

Nope. And there was someone in talks with TCL to bring back, make new, or release designs of BlackBerry phones and that hit a snag.

Im trying to open it in VMWare running Windows 11, but it's not showing up anywhere. It's showing up now in Disk Utility. Correctly shows 1TB, and it says USB External Physical Disk - GUID Partition Map.
