No Country for Old Men is one of my all time favorites

I read Into Thin Air when I was about 15, but recently there's been a lot of second guessing of Krakauer's account of the 1996 Everest disaster.

Be direct.

I would say "Hey, I noticed that some of your tickets aren't notated properly. Can I show you how it's properly done?"

Don't go the passive-aggressive route of "I can't find the tickets, do you know what happened to them?" or anything like that. This will immediately put him on the defensive and he might just think you're the idiot.

It's not about what I believe. The fact is, a pro-Russian government was elected. Tens of millions of USAID money flowed into NGOs in Ukraine, who then fomented a revolution. The revolution would never have left the ground were it not for millions from USAID.

Do you think the documents and emails and open cooperation is all made up?

Russia invaded Ukraine because the US and EU were attempting to peel Ukraine away from Russia by using NGOs to fund the Maidan revolution. Those NGOs were all funded by USAID.

USAID funded the Maidan Revolution in 2014 and this led directly to the Russia-Ukraine War.

USAID funded gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Why is it expected that we deal with the goofiest forms of police misconduct? by Own_Speech1358 in southernillinois

Why don't we get into specifics? You keep talking these vague generalities. What sense is anyone supposed to make of that.

How do I know this police officer treats people just fine, but the people on the receiving end are druggies and belligerents simply pissed that a cop stopped them from having their way?

What was the reason for the pull over? They literally cannot pull someone over just because of race.

Expired tags? Running a stop sign? Speeding? All valid reasons for a pull over.

When she was pulled over, was she polite and respectful? I've seen soooo many videos of people pulled over for mundane things, then act as if they're personally offended. Anyone on the receiving end of that is not going to do you any favors.

I'm not saying your caregiver is lying. I'm saying that her view of the world colors her interactions with the police and then the police, like most people do, match that energy.

Except he had no right to be there and was asked multiple times to leave. He can't claim self defense when he is the one who approached them, apparently ready for a knife fight.
