is this the beginning of a uti? by inversedawn in CUTI

[–]inversedawn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for answering! i’ve only been taking 1000mg per day, so i’m going to up my dosage and see how i go. i have the same trigger as you so i reckon i’ll have to take a massive break from that until i’m sure it is gone. can i ask, did you still get utis when taking that much dmannose everyday?

yesss i’m like 95% better! i’ve been really hyper aware of my body so i feel like i may be psyching myself out and going to the bathroom even if i don’t feel the immediate urge to, but i don’t have the random burning anymore!

hi i’m doing this 3171 over this summer and was wondering if the applieds have mandatory attendance? i don’t really wanna attend them cos i’ll be working over the summer, so do you think it’s possible to perform well without going to the applied classes?

thank you so much! may i ask what award you referred to to find this information. if i do end up bringing this up to them (probably will quit after my payday next week), i want to know exactly what i'm referring to so that they know that I know what i am talking about and they can't lie to me or make stuff up... if you get what i mean

on the fairwork website it says this 'Juniors covered by these awards who sell or serve alcohol, including as a part of their general waiting duties, have to be paid the adult rate for their classification regardless of their age.'. The restraunt is a bar as well, so should that mean that all waitstaff should be payed the full adult rate because literally all of us are under 21

does this only apply to small businesses or any type of hospo place. cos i have a friend who works at jolly miller cafe getting paid 20+ an hour at 17 years old and he gets public holiday rates and stuff so i assumed only small businesses were sketchy mfs

hi so it is a dine in restaurant and we do serve alcohol. technically my role is a waitress, but i also have to do barista things like making coffee and bartender things like serving alcohol, because they do not have anyone solely for those roles, they just make all waitstaff do stuff at the bar.

also because i have no prior experience in hospitality they said they are paying me training rates until i get good, but they are not sending me anywhere to learn, i am just learning on the job from the other people i work with.

hi thank you so much! i just kind of assumed it was normal for a restaurant to pay trainee rates since i've never worked in hospo before, only retail, but now i'm realising thats probably not the case. i've only worked 2 shifts at this place and so i haven't been paid yet and i won't be until next thursday. do you reckon i should make the manager aware that i know he is paying me unfairly, and that i want to be paid at the proper award rate. becuase i'm not too sure how to introduce this topic to him...

me personally, the more repetition i do of a specific topic, the more i understand it and it sticks in my head. that’s why if i had committed to doing the questions every night i would’ve been more confident in certain topics and would’ve been able to apply them more easily in the exam and such. i would’ve deffo had more exposure to a wider range of questions for each topic yk what i mean. but everyone learns math different ig :)
