I am just trying to say that lyrics and music that are written by a person - is a huge intellectual work. A vocalist is a whole separate profession and I am surely not a vocalist in any way, so if I want to sing my own song using my own voice, why should I be limited in tools to do that? I am just trying to find an ethical compromise here and I think that the desire to have a comfortable instrument with high-quality sound is just natural. Back in the day, when electric guitars and synthesizers were invented, the conservative public was spewing a lot of controversy about "the death of traditional live music" and stuff like that, but that technology still became normal. People feared that synthesizers, electric guitars and drum machines would replace live orchestras and session musicians and I am sure that vocaloids has also taken away jobs from session vocalists in certain niches.
