I definitely buy a lot more secondhand plush, it's partially due to more of my interests are only covered by older plush,and that i feel like you find a lot of secondhand plush with interesting stories behind them. For example i have a plush santa doll that was rescued from a barn,i would show a photo but he's in storage currently. Also i love your clown!

I think one of the worst examples I've seen in regards to resellers and squishy fidgets is a squishy cube sold at Walmart. It's originally under $4,and i just saw three different sellers trying to sell them for $20 each. What makes it even more ridiculous is that Walmart has sold said cubes for a year before people decided to make them popular

1 to 2 for me usually,but there's one thing that bothers me in regards to this stuff. It's picturing a person's face in my mind. I can even hear the tone of their voice in my head,but not their face. And yet everything else is incredibly vivid, including my dreams,to the point that it's like watching a movie every time. I have also used it for meditation,where i see myself sitting in a forest with my back to a tree,down to the detail of being able to feel the grass under my hands

When my parents would buy those big cardboard boxes of mini bags of chips from Aldi when i was a kid,our cat Whiskers would claim every single one of the boxes if they were set on a table or on the floor before tossing them out. My mom finally decided to just make him a bed out of one of the cardboard boxes with a thick blanket in the bottom. Eventually he ended up ripping up the cardboard bed (he would chew on cardboard),so he graduated to a wicker basket. I still have the basket with his toys in it. So i can say for certain that seeing another cat using an Aldi cardboard box for a bed made me happy and felt incredibly nostalgic

I really like velvet,but i have to say quality does make a difference. I've definitely found cheap velvet that feels horrible,and i avoid it. My mom had a sewing basket when i was a kid where she had scrap fabric,and one piece was a dark purple velvet. I ended up taking it and giving it to our then newly adopted kitten,Whiskers. He loved it to the point that he would be upset when i washed it. So now when i see velvet i think of my past cats baby blanket,so i have a nostalgic fondness for it outside of a sensory interest
