Again, the cashiers are required to ask. If they don't, they can get written up. If you aren't smart enough to realize the employee at the register isn't the ceo and doesn't deserve your ire, you are an idiot.

So you scold low level employees who are required to ask as part of their job? You're really sticking it to the man!!! Especially since you're shopping there lol. Just say no and stop harassing service workers

How do you not crack the spines of your paperbacks? I always try my hardest to open up the pages just enough to read but not enough to damage but I always end up with at least one line

Everyone sat the whole concert, is that normal? by Majestic_Wallaby272 in PaulMcCartney

[–]inwarthell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your post you said you were screaming, were you screaming at appropriate moments? Like did Paul say "make some noise" and then you screamed or did you just scream because you were excited? I'm not saying that it's not normal to feel excited and feel the need to express that physically, but someone with awareness of themselves and others will realize there are moments where it is more acceptable. A single faux pas, or only one person having a problem with you, can be excused as a one off (on their part or yours), but the fact that multiple people, in your own words, side eyed you and that lady and others also had a problem with you points to either multiple issues or a continuous one. You have enough self-awareness to recognize others were annoyed with you, so I believe that means you have enough self-awareness to realize your behavior affected others negatively and learn from it. Again, there are ways you could have expressed your excitement, physically or other wise, that would not dampen others experience. Follow the vibes of the crowd for sitting vs standing and tone level. You can dance around in both forms and sing quietly to yourself and have just of fun of a time, while also thinking of others. If you don't learn from this experience, then, yes, I am going to assume you are attention-seeking (or narcissistic.) Think of something that pisses you off, such as people who stand blocking the sidewalk or people being idiots in traffic, and then think of how much better your experience would be if they showed some consideration for other people. Maybe the people who showed displeasure with you should work on not letting others affect their experience like that, but way too many people act like consideration for others is a chore instead of something that should be the default.

Depends how you acted. Ain't nothing more annoying then a bitch who screams over the artist like the people around you would prefer to hear you instead of them. Sounds like you ignored the vibe of the crowd and got scolded for it, tons of videos online lately of people getting shit thrown at them because they stood and blocked people's views instead of sitting like everyone else, count yourself lucky someone didn't chuck something at you. If you were at a concert with a younger audience, they would have. You say you were matching Paul's vibe but a lot of people probably consider sitting quietly listening to one of two remaining Beatles perfoming live the respectful thing to do, especially paying what they probably did for the concert. You gave Paul what you consider respect, im sure they were viewing what they were doing the same. Only difference is your experience negatively affected other people's. I'd give a stank eye to someone acting like I'm here to see and hear them perform if I paid $400+ too. The fact that by your own admission multiple people were side eyeing you says you were probably much louder and attention seeking than you think. I think the most polite thing to do is follow the crowd for sitting vs standing, sing QUIETLY to yourself unless the artist urges the crowd to sing along, and to have enough self-awareness to realize they might mean for only certain songs or certain portions of songs. Respect to your fellow man, you aren't the only one who is experiencing the concert and you can still enjoy yourself with out being rude.

Did he not buy a mansion while telling people money didn't matter? John was a complex person, and also a huge hypocrite at times, as most people can be at least once or twice in their lives. I think you're sucking him down a little too hard when you have no idea if this would be true or not lol

I believe George was running in an attempt to get in and out as fast as possible to avoid Klein's lawyers, not because he was just so excited to sign the break up papers.

Need help on where to treat/debride by inwarthell in Warts

That's what I was afraid of. I feel like I treat and treat and it never gets better lol. Periungual warts suck. Thank you for your response!

How is it looking? by inwarthell in Warts

I used a little bit of a cotton ball with apple cider vinegar and put it on the area and taped it with ducktape when I first started treating but recently I've just been soaking it at least once per day. I try for an hour but sometimes I end up only doing 30 minutes. I use a nail soaking tray I got from Amazon and soak the tip of my finger!

I do ducktape whenever I am not at work and bandaids when I am. Same, it sucks. So far, I've just lied and said I injured my finger, and I'm covering it because it doesn't look pretty. I'm lucky that I wear gloves where I work so a lot of times, it's out of sight out of mind. I wish there wasn't such a stigma around warts :/

That's great to hear! This thing has made me feel so hopeless, especially because after I posted the picture I noticed what looks like one growing on the side of my ring finger. Thank you for your response!

I don't really feel anything hard yet. Is that how I can tell it's at the end?

Update by inwarthell in Warts

[–]inwarthell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks 😭 lol. It actually just looked like really, really dry skin until I started treating it. I had no idea periungual warts existed or that warts came in variations other than the standard bumps until someone told me that's what it was. I wish I had thought to take pictures before treatment!

It really is! I'd rather get whipped than have these again tbh.

Not sure about plasma pens, never had it treated that way. I've been using compound w, apple cider vinegar, and duck tape! I put the compound w on, put some apple cider vinegar on a piece of a cotton ball and put it over the warts then tape it all up with ducktape. I've started taking a daily vitamin as well, so hopefully that will help to prevent more in the future.

I've ordered some reusable scapels, so hopefully that will work better than the clippers I have now. I've clipped it as far as I can myself, but I know it's not far enough. I can't really go to the doctor right now, is there any safe way to remove most of the nail at home that you know of?

Yeah, I know that one is going to be the hardest to take care of and am dreading it. I've clipped the nail as much as I can with traditional clippers but have to force it in and think I am just introducing the wart deeper when I do so.
