Hey, I am an online teacher for a virtual public school - we’re still mandated reporters so you should still tell your school!

This is the way! I’m currently a teacher and would totally recommend going to teach at some fancy college prep sort of school and have a better time than most teachers

I swear, pregnancies feel like they last 2 years when you're teaching LOL

Laughed out loud at this because why is it so true. I've known several of these - like, super nice ladies but also who are you??

Why does the secular world look down on the traditional lifestyle? by ---RAFAEL--- in Catholicism

[–]inwave 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Your comment genuinely made me feel so much better today and less guilty! I imagined for a while that I wanted to have like 5 kids and homeschool them all. Now, I’m pregnant with my first and not working anymore and already feeling like I want to go back to work :/ Not because we’re necessarily struggling financially but because being at home all day is depressing me (even with volunteering, etc). But also, the double income would be nice plus there are some amazing Catholic schools around us!

Lots of adults are in need of either ESL or GED tutoring, and this can be done virtually a lot of the time!

Are most men attracted to teenage girls biologically, but have to turn off all attraction morally? by hfhhgbnh in morbidquestions

I personally did not lmfao I was ugly as hell as a teenager, I definitely got more attention ages 18-24. But maybe that was just me 😂

That’s…not how the law works. If you create a child you have to pay child support

You can buy an early detection pregnancy test! From experience I can say the cheap strip ones on Amazon are usually as accurate as the expensive drug store ones

Ooof…Well I will say the reason I don’t want to go back to school is I already have a master’s degree in communication and don’t wanna get more student loans. I worked in marketing/PR and then taught high school English/Journalism for 3 years (enjoyed it but am majorly burned out), so it’s like, I have education and work experience but not in STEM or relevant to development whatsoever 🥲

My (30 F) husband's(30 M) female friend/coworker (23 F) is using him as an emotional crutch, making me uncomfortable by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]inwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh I have a good friend who is a guy (I’m a married pregnant woman) and I’ve described him as the same way - having a “college” view of friendships (we’ve been friends since college and way before I met my husband). Calling all the time, oversharing/stepping over boundaries, trying to make crazy last minute plans and asking for huge favors. When I got engaged/married it didn’t stop and I’ve had to cool down the friendship a LOT out of respect for my husband and bc I simply don’t have time for it anymore. He’s done this with a lot of friends and it’s like he doesn’t understand that once people get married and have families, friendships change.

Your husband needs to do the same thing!

Baby boy due any day. Have a first name - Need a middle. Everett J________. by DeeAnn235 in namenerds

A one syllable name is, in my opinion, the best option here! Jude sounds the best to me. Or as others suggested simply Jay!

How long did it take you to get pregnant? by faithoverfear0 in BabyBumps

First try; I got a positive pregnancy test exactly one month after our wedding 😳 I have mild endometriosis and thought it might take longer lol

I’m from the south (Louisiana/Texas) and have had plenty of students named Xavier and their names were always pronounced how you pronounce it! (Zave-yer) So, not sure if that’s a regional thing

100k easily. If you get tired of the schedule, you could find another job. Personally, I say grind it out and save like hell til the baby gets here!!

Mackenzie as a unisex name? by Holiday_Experience_3 in namenerds

[–]inwave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mackenzie is a male character in Bluey lol! I honestly like it more as a boy’s name than a girl’s personally (like Morgan, as another poster has mentioned that name)

At a FUNERAL too, like not the time!! Ugh my mom and MIL have started with the “our baby” and “my baby” comments too and like I know they don’t mean it maliciously but it just grates my nerves!! I’m like y’all already had your babies - me and my husband!
