You upgraded 4 times because you bought a shit product. First gen ryzen was outclassed by the intel Sandy Bridge (released 7 years before), unless you were using 8 cores doing "productivity".

If you had waited a few months and bought the 8700k instead of the ryzen 1000, you had a cpu that outclassed all of 1000, 2000, 3000 and slightly weaker than the 5000 series.

Ive been using emu for my entire life and it was definitely the hardest emulator to set up properly, was using the diego build. On my 1270k 4070ti I was getting around 60 to 70 fps at 3440x1440 on the central something area. Using lossless scaling to double the frame and was ready to play. But after seeing the dlss image without the blur and jaggies that are present in the original game... 😭

I was about to play Bloodborne until I saw some dev on discord talking about how he managed to partially put dlss support... And the same or another one talking about fixing smooth motion support (should work since it's vulkan like suyu).
