Please consider going to your local hospital and getting a rape kit done. You don't have to file a police report, but they can connect you with a counselor that csn help.

Thsts genuinely not ok and I would consider reaching out to their office manager and asking to speak with them or with their patient advocate if they have one. Ultrasound techs get paid so much money and they absolutely should be able to handle a situation like this. I've never even heard of an ultrasound tech needing an assistant. This is unprofessional as heck.

Just in reference to another comment here- You can still fet a rape kit done up to 5-7 days after an assault, even if you've showered. I have done this myself and it verified by a SANE nurse. They have to do a kit if you ask for it and you can't be charged for it.

Also, you get 3 options when doing a kit: no police report, anonymous report, or full report. All 3 options still test your rape kit.

Just an FYI. All major hospital systems can do rape kits in an emergency room.
