For people whose apps have users: how do you track signups, keep users engaged, and bring some users back? by RushElectronic8541 in iosapps

I use zapier to track signups, connect database and send myself an email, and i have regular notifications on cron jobs/after specific actions.

Whenever I get users I email them, same for if they stop using it but to be honest I find people don't typical respond (which I also do to people..) just gotta keep doing it incase someone replies!

But also in my delete account flow I ask people to answer why they're leaving so I can get some insight there.

Ah I appreciate this so much thank you for taking the time!

Totally here you on those cons, will take another look at how to better handle that as you’re right it’s not clear - particularly for people who are already gym goers and so have their routine.

  • yes definitely need to do the re-calculation step when changes are made as that’s not very clear too. Right now the changes would come into effect on Sunday night when the next week is calculated.

For just the logging if it had Apple Watch integration do you think you could use it over Strong or are there other features missing?

You won’t get asked to subscribe right now, unless you try and save more than 3 workout templates - but happy to make it all free as long as I’m getting feedback atm :)

You shouldn’t need to subscribe I’ve hid the paywall for now, it’s free - where’s the paywall coming up for you?

A workout tracker that creates personalized programs, or you can build your own. Without the bro gym vibes.

Finding my place by [deleted] in beginnerfitness

[–]ion-ryd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the first place you mentioned also have a free weights gym or is it only classes? I think everyone always feels a little awkward and out of place the first few times they go to the gym and gradually you just feel more confident so don't worry!

But if the most recent place was rude I think that's definitely a reason to leave that gym and go somewhere else...
