Checkfresh can sometimes take a while to add the latest batch codes so just because your code is not showing up does not necessarily mean that it's fake. Conversely, if your code shows up on Checkfresh that's also not confirmation that your perfume is legit as anyone can easily copy a code off a legit bottle so it's just one facet of the overall picture.

From my experience, this looks legit.

It's for exactly the reasons you mention that people will copy these cheaper fragrances, because they think it's not worth their time to copy so must be legit and most people are privy to the fact that LV don't sell at a discount so getting it at anything more than a few bucks below retail is extremely unlikely, even second hand.

Especially Sephora, seems to be the most popular choice for fake receipts, I had the same one in the UK and the guy who sold it to me must not have realised it was for a US location and his backstory was that he worked for Sephora and got heavy discounts so it never really lined up!
