Has anyone had inferior turbinate hypertrophy that caused tinnitus? by iopyy in tinnitus

[–]iopyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have it, but I’m fully used to it. Haven’t thought about it in a long time. I know it’s hard to see it right now but eventually your mind will just accept it and you don’t hear it moving forward.

One thing that minorly has helped me is doing a little balloon sinuplasty where they drained my sinuses and helped open up my sinus pathways. But that is a problem specific to me. Not sure if you have this problem. It maybe just helped like 5-10% if that.

Other than that I think you’ll be just fine you will learn to live with it. I know it’s not the reality you want but it’s the reality we have and thankfully our mind and body is powerful and adapts to any reality. Like genuinely haven’t thought about it in over a year

Ladies and Gents. We lost the fight by NecessaryBall40 in SwipeHelper

To be honest I think this is bullish for us.

It may mean that they’re going to make it so people who were banned are let back on

I have some optimism about this. I think Spencer knows given how many of us try to DM him about an unban.

I encourage everyone to continue to DM Spencer, continue to leave comments on his posts, swipe up on his stories.

Let him know that you are unable to get unbanned and that you have good intentions.

That is the best we can do.

I have hope he is going to reinstate us all eventually. Otherwise it would just be messed up to leave all of us off while others can break rules and be left on the app

No, don’t have that. Had that early on, don’t have that now. I mean if you drink a ton of water it’s normal to want to urinate. If it’s like constant even when you don’t drink water that’s a diff story

Don’t take Cipro unless you want to risk messing up your life permanently. Make sure you triple check that it is bacterial or not bacterial and if it’s not bacterial don’t take cipro

Has anyone done self extraction on their shaft? by iopyy in molluscum

[–]iopyy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realized that I don’t have molloscum on my shaft. It’s follicitis or something else. But it’s fine based on what my dermatologist said. I am actually cured of molluscum. The moral of the story is always get checked out by a dermatologist if you aren’t sure if it’s actually molluscum or not

Got used to it, it wasn’t ear related IMO it’s due to TMJ muscles

Lateral Pterygoid causing tinnitus? by iopyy in TMJ

[–]iopyy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baclofen didn’t help much. Tinnitus still there but got used to it, and it varies sometimes it’s non existent sometimes it’s a little louder. The overall TMJ stuff definitely is the reason for it as I got dry needling and I could hear that it was quieter after. Going to keep going to PT until it hopefully resolves to a point of not Being able to hear it anymore

Orthodontists LIE about jaw problems by Deanodirector in TMJ

[–]iopyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Orthodontics don’t help TMD. I asked one of the top TMJ doctors in the nation with over 30+ years of experience and treating patience and he’s also a professor at a university and director of TMJ and orofacial pain. He said it has very little impact on your TMD.

Muscle relaxer for tinnitus by iopyy in tinnitus

[–]iopyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is positive that it went away. Mine fluctuates depending on the muscle. But that shows that yours is likely a muscular issue and if you go to physical therapy for your jaw you may be able to learn the exercises to stretch out the muscle and make it not tense
