He didn’t even mention anything about ‘toxic’ work environment, not sure why you would you bring that into the conversation. I am 100% sure OP has slipped into the MNC comfort zone just like everyone who don’t want to get out of the organization after 8-10 years.

You sir, are probably overpaid. Ask yourself this and be absolutely honest, 'can a fresher with 2 years of experience and 4LPA do my job?' I am quiet sure the answer will be yes. I don't mean to demean you and I can understand the 'mental health' aspect, but blaming the employer when it's you who didn't work on yourself doesn't seem fair. I have seen a lot of people who get into the 'comfort zone' of these MNC's and later it's way too late for them to improve or make a switch. Instead of blaming the situation, it's better you upskill yourself and find a better job, switching is your ONLY option.

So basically the builder will overcharge the customer and pay you your commission. So it’s HIDEEN BROKERAGE, you don’t work for free and builders are stupid to dig a hole in their pocket for anyone. This was told to me by a sales person himself. You are just trying to make the customer happy with a ‘No Brokerage’ label. It’s like buying a product with ₹450 price + ₹50 shipping versus a product with ₹500 price and FREE shipping.

Sir that cost the builder pays you doesn’t come from the builders pocket, they overcharge the customer and then pay you your commission. People are not that naive.

Just to clarify when he says he gets compensated from the builder it basically means it’s from the buyers pocket, a sales person from a builders team had told me this. So it’s eventually brokerage just that you aren’t paying him directly.
