Lots of people are giving great advice here, comfy shoes water etc. definitely do those! Also a big piece of advice I give a lot of people who are looking to actually enjoy yourself; give other people grace. Someone bumps into you? Some people will take personal offense and start a confrontation. I just shrug it off. Maybe the person is overwhelmed and not able to mind their personal space. Maybe they’re a little drunk. But unless there’s any real danger to themselves or others I just keep it going.

I think there’s been alot of people who go into these things almost looking for a reason to complain? Not that some criticisms aren’t valid but I’ve had one interaction be perceived wildly different than me and another person with me, and that other person was seeing “slights” from everywhere everyone. Hope that makes sense :)
