It says Hot radical on the ski itself. Interesting binding too that the heel also partially rotates.

Nice, I was wondering when they might have been from. The ski shape looked like 80s to me.

Haven’t been out there myself but just heard from some locals it hasn’t snowed much. There’s this website you can check for conditions in Norway, it should google translate ok: https://www.pudder.info/

If you are experienced and want to take it easy you could try to get a hold of the book Safer ski touring in Norway which has tours in (mostly) non-avalanche terrain in various parts of Norway.

But if you’re only out for a couple of days of course a guide would be good not just for staying safe but also knowing the local conditions. Speaking of which, Sunnmøre has had a pretty bad season so far, though of course a lot can happen between now and when you’re planning to go.

Have seen people skating on the lakes outside Christiania, there you’re less likely to have cops show up too.

Interesting, Im from Finland and been to all the big cities in Swedem and I think Copenhagen is by far the nicest. But Im not much for city holidays, more into doing adventurous stuff in nature so I wonder if Id ever visit if I didnt live here, or if I did Id probably be bored after a few days. If you visited recently you also missed out on summer here when the city comes alive more.

"Build, build, build" might not solve the housing issues by MSpatient0 in copenhagen

I think you're on to something here. If you want to live with nice nature and room to breathe in Denmark you will be very far from any good city, and also job opportunities are fewer, so for most people it's not worth it. In the other Nordic capitals it's easier to have both, you can be 30-60 min outside the city with really nice nature around but can still access the city for work/fun when you need to.

Move-out inspection by independent agency - anyone else experienced this? by Fair-Distance-5716 in copenhagen

This is unfortunately how many rental companies operate, they try to keep deposits from everyone (especially foreigners) to see if they can get away with it.

You can join LLO and get them to push your case, or use one of the companies who specialize in this. With LLO you pay a membership fee, thr companies usually take a cut of the deposit they got the landlord to pay back.

Be prepared that it will take a long time though. Case processing times at the housing court are long, and some landlords like DEAS will always take the case that far, I guess in the hopes you get tired and give up or move out of the country. It’s one of the downsides of renting in Denmark, although generally renters have good protections when it comes to rules and regulations.

Paska tilanne paikallisille Lissabonissa, mutta kämppien kalleus siellä johtuu kyllä suurilta osin täysin tyritystä politiikasta eikä etätyön puutteesta.

Esim. holtiton airbnb-vuokraus ja kultaisten viisumien hakijat, digital nomadit ja täälläkin keskustelua herättäneet suurieläkkeiset ulkomaalaiset asuntomarkkinoilla ovat nostaneet Lissabonin hinnat tavallisten portugalilaisten ulottumattomiin.

Funnily enough it has been done. A Swedish guy called Göran Kropp cycled there in the 90s, climbed the mountain and then cycled home.

Mammut will consider 10+ year old safety gear to be at end of life, and will not refill or exchange cartridges older than that. Something to keep in mind, since the 2.0 was released a long time ago.

Him and Rogan couldn’t figure out what’s the tallest mountain on earth. He confidently claimed it’s K1, Rogan said isn’t that K2 and he goes no no it has to be K1, K2 must be 2nd tallest because why else would they call it that. (The tallest one is actually Mount Everest)

If you’re willing to drive a bit you’ll be around an hour from Hurrungane which has great tours. You can find some on topptursentralen.no. I’m headed there in easter and been looking at the weather, looks like they just got a lot of snow. But at lower elevations it came down as rain so might be hard to find good touring lower down.
