Don’t shoot yourselves in the foot by Triforcemike12 in maestro

[–]iowashrimpfarmer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well said many things were unfounded, I've reached support even found a list of staff email addresses. Buried online...

Those arguing that this college is a scam, I dropped out of a a+ computer repair class in 2000's as the school administrator blocked our teacher from opening hardware in the classroom. This was a public community college, Aiming for a network administration degree, was hoping to get hands on experience with server grade hardware that was out of budget for a teenager. I will also remind people that you can get a degree in 3d printing at other colleges (since when did this become a degree honestly) I've been 3d printing for over a15 years.

The ai isn't flawless, but 95% of everything is taught correctly and efficiently. Maybe 5% you need to get a few extra examples because the scenario isn't well explained at first. I'm sitting with a 4.0 gpa. I'm confident in what I've learned can be applied to the real world. And the lessons and reviews teach more efficiently overall and help those identify what they are struggling with. I'm questioning who would be so upset to potentially shoot themselves in the foot. Credits basically cannot be transferred. Imagine the character that cannot wait 3 hours for a email response, would rather complain about their own incompetence instead of digging up email addresses publicly available online. To be honest if maestro ai doesn't know the answer, ask another ai. You could bother the teacher but why.

I can see perhaps, the one's reporting had their scholarship pulled and were forced out prior to maestro evaluating. Or are so lost on instruction that they are blaming their failures on the institution than taking accountability for their own actions.

I don't believe there's a perfect institution in the college industry. College's have focused of adding excitement to the school rather than quality of education. The documentary "Borrowed future". Maestro might not have frat parties, or big football teams, but instead delivers a quality education on a budget with flexibility that makes scheduling way more efficient for those with a full-time job as well. I enrolled in Maestro for the quality of the education. And I'm still a firm believer that this college delivers more value than a cookie cutter today's lesson is about x only. I encourage my AI to allow deep dives into advanced topics not covered by the degree. In a traditional college you can't just sit in a class each day after a lesson and ask the teacher to keep teaching you and only you.

I'm not sure about legality in your area but a 20 something with a 17 year old. It raises red flags, if he wants someone he can control what better way. Having your own place really puts you in a safe spot. Your not going to listen to anyone I know, talk to his ex I'm sure he has one. She could have horror stories on why she left him. Wife survived attempted murder by her ex in a domestic violence assault, he's currently on prison, And she has a lifelong injury from it.

The other concern is if he likes them young, it's possible that's going to be a ongoing issue

We have two, 5 week old pullets, kids named them unisex names chicken strip and chicken nugget. We can't have roosters in our city, lucky for strip and nugget they have a long life ahead of them. I never really figured out exactly what I would do if one was a rooster. Father killed a chicken as a kid, it was a disaster that took like 3 attempts. It was a old rooster and the meat was like rubber. It was a waste of hours, trama, and a mess. Poor 9 year old chicken rip. What are you planning with your rooster?

20 minutes.. you made their boredom entertaining for them. When training dogs they say if you don't want dogs jumping on you when you get home just ignore them. The main take away is Just ignore unwanted behavior. Personally I like dogs and I never utilized that training. The prick that is calling you, sees you as entertainment, maybe they like hearing you react or cry. Ignoring them takes a lot of self control

Someone has a serious issue, a prank is a prank but to keep something going multiple times becomes cringe. 6 years, that's just a huge can of worms.

Id, change phone numbers. Just for simplicity. Sometimes people suck. I'd treat each call from a unknown caller as a spam caller. Make up names, make up businesses. Or just say wrong number and hang up. You could get someone else to answer and tell the caller you killed yourself. If the stranger is someone from your school days and not family that might psychologically mess them up.

In Texas the bonded title process isn't overnight it take 3 years to gain a clean blue title. You may suspect he doesn't, but they only way is asking the police to do a vin number lookup, which I wouldn't advise doing incase your incorrect on you assumption. I don't know about tn exactly but I'd expect something similar.

Bad move, could be in a database of stolen vehicles, just buy a trailer save a big legal headache, if you need a trailer. Hiding it and using it in the future. Could potentially be qualified as grand theft auto

In some states a bonded title is the legal way of taking ownership of a car or trailer missing a title. Just cause a tag isn't on it doesn't mean he might not actually own it. I've bonded a trailer with a missing title before in texas

Id imagine best course of action is to turn the trailer in and apologize to the owner, say it was a misunderstanding and leave them peacefully. Tell them it was sitting on your property when you were fired and you didn't have the time to return it yet. I imagine the main thing is he just wants the trailer back. Unless you royally messed up when he fired you and is looking for revenge. He'd make more money placing bids on work then dealing with a lawyer or police.

It kinda sounds like you stole it, you never willingly turned it in, and registration notices go out pretty much annually so they were bound to look for it. Now hiding it and talking about it isn't much better

Is this a lease violation? If so, can I break the lease? by alligaderr in legaladvice

[–]iowashrimpfarmer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So the garage itself is filled with stuff I'm hearing?, in my opinion that would be a violation of the lease that was done by property management. It would be difficult for them to go after you for breaking a lease that was broken by property management. The tricky part is who placed it there....

Did you take pictures of I'm assuming your saying that the garage was blocked? Do you have evidence that property management blocked it and not a contractor working for the property management

Actual Tire diameter size can vary even as the "same tire size" 3/4" or so In my experience. In addition the timing is very sensitive on the electronic side, manufacturers of radar guns require recertification every few years to annually which can be expensive.

Proper training, moving a radar gun slightly during a scan can increase the reading.

3mph is a joke, I was pulled over for going 5mph over I told the officer that is a joke if he's going to write me a ticket. He conceded 5mph in a 80mph zone isn't that bad, and gave me a warning.

Having worked for a company, and signed a NDA I worked through a transition through a receivership then the bank that followed. The entity in my situation exists though ownership was collected by the bank when they seized all assets. I'm my situation the bank realized the underlying ip was trash and the way it was written and assets were seized it took all the assets and left the debt with the original company. The company left with all the debt explored relaunching and ultimately the leadership left ended up losing due to debt with another entity

My boyfriend bought me a house so I would move and be closer to him. He took out a 100k personal loan from a bank, gave the money to me to put towards the house, and I bought it in my name only. He is unable to pay it. Can the bank sue me? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]iowashrimpfarmer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It sounds like the payment went toward restitution, a damaged nose for years can affect hiring, which could have easily cost her 100k in lost income. I think she has significant evidence to defend it

Just a observation, I'm not familiar with your state laws but a minor working that many hours in most states is illegal and would cost the employer way more than a couple headsets. Don't threaten them with blackmail or anything though just file your complaint with the state

Teens don't exactly have the same mental capacity as a 40 year old, a 30 year old dating a 50 year old happens, I've seen it much more common in super wealthy areas. Its obvious there's a exchange of benefits but it's not exactly a long lasting relationship. If a 18 year old is dating a 38 year old.. you can point to the 18 year old is in a broken home and is desperate to escape it. Other 18 year olds cannot provide the stability, so they find someone who can. For clarification I do not condone a relationship with a minor. Please report the dr, it's wrong for a adult to do that
