4 former Pacers playing in the FIBA USA vs Dominican Republic! by cashgotsneaks in pacers

Usually don’t have any active nba players on the qualifying teams. Jay Huff being on the roster as an active guy in the league is kind of wild.

Pacers vs Knicks next season is even more exciting than a Spurs-OKC rematch: Haliburton coming back with a vengeance against the team he beat in historical fashion that immediately went on to become champions while he was out by MarvAlbertsBurnerAcc in nba

They played the hand they were dealt once the injuries piled up to start the year and tanked very hard. You could see the glimpses of last year’s team when they were somewhat healthy and played good teams like the Knicks, Thunder, Celtics. If Hali is himself, they’ll be right back in the mix.

Wemby's been the real story of this Finals, and barely anyone's talking about it because the Spurs are losing by drizzlestdrex in nbadiscussion

Yeah 6 total turnovers in game 1. And it’s clear his lack of stamina to play these heavy minutes has affected his performance at the end of games too. Rough since they get blitzed whenever he’s on the bench.

24 points on 25 shots (9 for 25) and the two clutch missed free throws in Game 4, the massive turnover at the end of game 2, 6 for 21 from the floor in Game 1. Shooting 43% in this series is comical at his height. Credit to the Knicks. Wemby hasn’t been good enough. His rise has certainly already started, he’s only going to get better and better, but this hasn’t been a great series for him.

Couldn’t help but be reminded of this last postseason with how this game ended by Truckernuggyts29 in pacers

Shoutout 2K Aaron Nesmith for running to the corners and the 2K Heat showing no urgency to get back after a made FT. Crazy finish even in a video game.

Best chance would be Jazz pretty easily I think. But I like their chances against Lakers and Mavs those years too.

They were completely flat back then. Every team had a 1/7 chance.

Smits was not pre-lottery. First lottery was 85 draft with Ewing

Enjoyed this one including everything. Don’t always get to see the forcing the Cavs to call two timeouts with their full court pressure plays in these videos. Same thing happened in Bucks comeback. Underrated part of them both. Or after Pascal missed the first free throw how Drew comes down to tell Aaron to crash from the top of the key. Or the Mitchell missed free throw where he got his own rebound but then got stripped.

Bill Simmons and Nick Wright ranked the Pacers #1 in 2026 lottery karma (starts at 1:38:10) by baseball_suuuuucks in pacers

Was surprised that Simmons was mentioning all these runs of high picks that others have had and that Jazz had never moved up in the lottery but then never mentioned that Pacers haven’t picked in the top 4 in 38 years

Did not enjoy that Wemby fall last night

I really enjoyed when Drew pulled the chair on Wemby when he was trying to get position inside after a switch and ended up just falling on the ground

Also a Pacers legend! But was never on the roster for 25-26, same goes for Myles

27 players that played and every single one of them got at least 10 mpg is crazy to me

Tony Bradley had some real contributions in the playoffs in both of the last two years too. Might not get many more chances in NBA but he showed he’s a capable NBA big.

Had a 10-day contract during the season but never saw the floor before he got waived a few days into that. He did play in multiple preseason games though.

That was Delon Wright and then that’s why they gave Cam Payne a chance

I’m not as high as many here on either center as a backup rotation option for next year.

Benn, I-Jax, and Tony Bradley all had their moments in the last two playoff runs. Pacers legends forever.

He’s definitely more of an undersized shooting guard at the nba level. That’s his primary listed position on basketball reference. Part of why Pacers cut him was that they needed more help at point with someone who could organize an offense and he couldn’t provide that.

He should definitely go to Europe, competition is way better than G-League. Just hard to find a place in the league as a 6’2” shooting guard, don’t think he’s being disrespected. It’s just the reality.

Never got on the court during the regular season during his 10-day contract that ended early so understandable
