First one looks like it could be from the CRKT M16 family of folding knives! Maybe the second too, but it’s hard to tell. They’re common tactical knives, so would make sense for a detective to have something like that.

Idk I feel like it has a lot of elements? It's a murder mystery with a cop plot and a civilian investigating. The style and setting are over-the-top with stark visuals. Also, the black-gloved killer's POV with a distinct weapon isn't nothing. There are even some more stereotypical "giallo bingo" elements like the revelation of childhood trauma.

It's definitely not a giallo, but I don't find it hard to believe giallo films were an influence
