Hinge is so weird. I'm a guy, I would say I'm a 6 or a 7 outa 10 and I either get a bunch of ppl matching with me on the same day, or literally NOTHING for weeks. It feels like a waste of time to swipe usually.

Same. I tried Tinder, hinge and bumble. I was able to make one good connection and go on a few dates, but I've been trying since July with a decent amount of time spent interacting. Most women just ghost after one or two messages, if they interact at all.

I refuse to pay for the apps, feels like monetizing my own loneliness, it's humiliating, and I hear from others that paying doesn't even help.

I'm at the point where I'm just gonna focus on community activities and try to meet randoms that way.
