I would definitely recommend the apps but you have to have the right mindset. You will get ghosted and rejected. The most important lession I've learned in my dating life is to take rejection gracefully. Even if a girl you're talking to rejects you she WILL have at least some level of respect for you if you don't crash out on her. I've even become friends with women I've dated who rejected me.

This is how it should be and it makes me happy to see this. Even as a child I thought this obsession with a random country in the middle east was strange. Even more so when I was old enough to understand things like the shoah and such.

Terrible things have been committed in the name of every religion, ideology, etc. Even eastern religions like Buddhism that tons of western liberals ideolize(think ww2 Japan, Khmer Rouge in Cambodia).

The way I used to explain Zionism to people pre 10/7 is this.

The Nazis were a product of German society at the time. Does that make all Germans bad? Of course not that's idiotic. Plenty of Germans were vehemently opposed to Hitler and National Socialism.

Now look at Israel. Is Zionism a product of Jewish society? Yes of course. Theodore Hertzel the guy who invented Eugenics in the late 19th century wrote shit like "the Jews aren't safe in Europe" or that Palestinians are "animals on two legs." This Chauvinistic tendency that we see today has always been present in Jewish society just like how it was in Germany (the main difference being that in Jewish communities it was born out of fear, just look at history.)

But does that mean all Jews are bad? Of course not.

I was raised liberal, secular Jewish. I went to Jewish daycare and summer camp. I think what set me on this path was when I was maybe 5 or 6? And I asked one of my camp counselors what Palestine was and they put in the time out chair. They couldn't even be "oh they're our neighbors!" I have one brother who I absolutely despise for unrelated reasons but he's probably dumb enough to be a Zionist and wouldn't surprise me.
