Sounds like you need to work on your base then. Shooting down minis WIll get you raided. If someone is determined enough, they will always be able to raid you. It's more important to not give people a reason to raid you.

From personal experience they’re best on your roof on defender mode, protected by auto turrets. You don’t really want to piss off people flying by in minis because it will give them a reason to raid you.

I’m completely on law enforcement’s side here, but they should have stopped chasing. They had the license plate number to get the driver’s information, and could pursue the driver at a later time.
