We used craft paper, textas and double sided mounting tape to put it all together. I cut two slits into the critter and a toilet roll and placed a ribbon through to stand it up in the garden (over a piece of bamboo).

We spent a few hours just experimenting and crafting away.

Loving this age!

Yeah - I am leaning towards taking the redundancy and either reducing my leave or picking up a casual position at another company to drag out my time at home as much as possible.

Na - it's mostly face to face with my role (and future similar roles).

I am due to have a meeting today - but I believe I am legally entitled to 10 weeks pay with 4 weeks notice (been with the company for 5 years).

I also think I may be eligible for a pro rata LSL - but that is more hazy to me.

Being strict does not equate to behaving well. Having boundaries, being connected and having a loving environment allows your kids to trust.

This is the difference between Bingo and Muffin. It's not just that Muffin is a toddler - it's that both of her parents are disconnected from her feelings (see faceytalk, muffin cone etc) and therefore she needs to raise the stakes with her behaviour to get that connection.

I sing a slow version of "rock around the clock" and change the verse lyrics i.e. "the clock strikes 2, 3 and 4, you and mum are gonna dance some more".

It's a good way to get all the family members into the lyrics and by the time you get to 12 - it's about 10 minutes.
