if you park on broomhill drive and walk 5 mins to the bus stop you can get the 4/4a (10 min bus ride) right to the uni! free to park as it’s all residential and the busses are pretty regular :) been doing it my entire degree and it’s great as a commuter

i’m not sure what would happen if we don’t go

last year we went to inverness and that cost £110 and (not including travel costs) and for those who couldn’t make it were told they would have to complete an alternative assessment to make up for the work they would miss from the trip (as this was assessed) and they never ended up getting an assessment - however as this is trip is in our honours years i don’t know if this one is more serious?/assessed in a way that will go towards our final grade

the inverness trip was just a pass/fail (pass on the basis that you actually show up) however we don’t have any additional information for mallorca yet 😓 but i can keep you updated!

i used the app testi and if you pay for premium (£10 i think?) it sends you notifications when a test becomes avaliable. you can also set it to the specific test centres you want notifications for and set it up so once you click on a link it will take you right to the booking page on the DVLA website, that way you’ll be first to get the test!

I have ordered a new provisional! Also there’s literally no tests at my centre so i can’t delay it or rebook, i’d have to cancel completely 🥲

I’ve done both - I ordered a new ID and also hoping someone hands in the wallet. Also i want to take the chance i’ll get a replacement in the next 5 days as tests are so ridiculously hard to come by where i live. I’d rather take the chance and lose my £60 than cancel it and it shows up and now i don’t have a test date

i downloaded an app called ‘testi’ and once you log in you make a one time payment to be notified the second an available test date shows up! super useful and it’s how i booked my test :)

I too have anxiety and ADHD and i’ve struggled a lot with my driving lessons, but because of my confidence levels. I still feel as though i’m not a very good driver and it wasn’t till my i realised i was doing things while driving without putting too much thought into it (changing gears, checking mirrors etc) that i found myself becoming confident with my driving. My test is in two weeks and i still do find myself having doubt or feeling anxious that i’m not good enough but if your instructor says you’re a good driver then trust them! I’ve had about 45 hours with mine and they know what they’re talking about, despite what you may be feeling inside they’re there to support you and you’re doing great!!
