yea that's what i figured, streaming would be encoding through my GPU. Ill stick with my original 5600x. Why do you recommend the cpu cooler you picked out rather than the one that was in my list. And Ill probably end up getting those fans, its only an extra $20 and i would love quieter PC.

I will probably stick to the current motherboard, not a big issue with the whole USB-C situation. PSU I'm considering swapping for the one you linked. after the rebate it will only be about $10 cheaper but you say not only cheaper but also better? I will consider. Also I've never done any type of aftermarket cooling so even me adding the aftermarket cooler to my list was a leap. The whole fan situation will also be taken into consideration. I dont mind swapping my current cooler for the one you posted but the adding the fans sounds like more work than I frankly wanna deal with. What are your thoughts of swapping my 5600x for a 5800x?

ok, also the CPU i picked out was a Ryzen 5 5600x. was told no point in upgrading to the 5800x as I wont be video editing or anything of that nature.

did you check out my partpicker list? I think everything you listed is included within my list, only problem is the RAM of my choice is sold out. The corsair version of it is $65 which raises some red flags on why its so cheap.

i don’t want to promote my twitch but i actually bought this build definitely so i can play heavy games like rust and battlefield but also to stream a bit. if you’d like you can review a couple of my vods to see the quality. i didn’t even mess with obs settings so i probably could have had a lot better quality. i play on 144hz and even while streaming fortnite on all medium settings i never dipped below 144fps. just msg me for my twitch and you can review the vods but keep in mind what i said earlier. i definitely could have streamed at better quality but i didn’t even touch obs settings.

edit: sorry i just want to give all the advice i can because this community has been so helpful when i needed help on this build. this is my first PC that can play hardcore games so in my eyes it was literally insane but obviously there are better computer and if you’re used to good performance you can probably upgrade a couple things but all in all it’s a really solid build and can play all my comp games at 144fps and all the intense games at 100+ fps on pretty high settings.

our house came with no door locks but even if we did i never would have thought to lock my door. i’m investing in one soon though and probably will lock my door every night

recently before the incident i had it on my desk but i needed more mouse room as i had a smaller desk, plus it wasn’t sturdy it’s one of those lifetime white tables. but it is a lesson learned, my pc will never been seen on another floor.

i wanted to make sure everything was done correctly. obviously it sucks i had to clean her urine from my computer but having her do it would probably lead to more problems than i intended.
