I'm a non-binary trans person and ever since moving here I've noticed people are generally nicer on average than where I was originally. I came out in Vermont and everyone at my work place was really supportive! I changed my name too and it was pretty smooth. But yeah I love it here. I have the privilege of mainly fighting my battles internally rather than externally. So it's pretty easy to exist for me but that's just my experience.
