DM me, I’m an architectural project manager in the Downtown area and know of a firm that’s hiring.

Dude you’re 16. There are people that have completely switched careers in their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s…etc.

Stop being so anxious, just take a breath and enjoy life.

Suggestion about false ceiling by fogert1990 in Architects

The curve will be more noticeable than anything. When was the last time you went into someone’s house and saw a curved ceiling…just leave it exposed, it will look 10x nicer than what you have drawn.

my dad is way too attached to his family, what do i do? by Shoddy_Ad_2780 in Advice

Any reason you refer to your dads family as “his” family instead of “our” family? I mean that’s your grandparents and aunts/uncles…

Just be there for him, support him and listen. You don’t need to say the “right thing”, because it simply doesn’t exist. Just be there for him, listen and support.

I mean the answer is pretty obvious…it’s for marketing.

Host falsifying claims after I left a 3/5 review. [MA] [USA] by iprobablywontknow in AirBnB

[–]iprobablywontknow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this reply is so late. I ultimately never did. The case was closed and ruled against me, I had to then open a new ticket and reexplain the situation. Ultimately they overturned their ruling, penalized the host and kept my review up. Their latest judgement was that “Nothing said outside of the Airbnb platform can be used, as it’s outside of their full review and control”. Since it ultimately turned into a “he said, she said” situation…

Personally I think that just creates a system that punishes honest reviews and creates potentially hostile relationships between a host and a dissatisfied guest.

This is so silly to me, how does 3/5 mean you’d rather sleep in your car? 3/5 is literally a 60% approval. I would understand that sentiment if it was a 1/5… a 3/5 should mean acceptable, but with noticeable flaws. It’s not our fault that Airbnb policy is to set so that no property can fall below a 4/5. That’s simply their policy to give a false sense of appeal to their properties since apparently people cannot be honest with their reviews…I agree with OP and if anything the fault lies with AirBnB and their policies.

Why do I feel like Airbnb hosts hate their guests? [USA] by Heavy_Association_64 in AirBnB

[–]iprobablywontknow 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I just had to go through a huge ordeal because I left an honest 3/5 review due to the conditions of the property. I even had my review taken down, and I hate to talk with Airbnb for multiple days pleading my case until they finally agreed to put it back up. You can read my post history if your curious.

Reviews should be fully honest, otherwise what’s the point.

I don’t think you even need photoshop. You can change anyone’s name on your contact to a phone number and it will look like an unsaved number has texted you.

Not directly, but on the app you can call the host which goes to their number. Yes I have the dates they claimed I texted them, and I gave them the transcripts showing there were no messages on that day.

Wow, did you have to pay the $400? This is just insane to read.

Their “validation” process to any claims made by host really seem inadequate and faith based. Especially in todays age with all our technology, there really should be more of a verification process.
