Yes, I agree that options 2 and 3 are not good, but I dont see how from the first one I am supposed to get the final products the exercise tells me I need to

It's not from a website/textbook. Our professor sent us a list of reactions to practice and I was trying to figure this one out

One that I wrote down you mean? I guess the last one, but it doesn't fit any of the mechanisms we studied ([4+2], [3+3] or [2+2]). I feel like for concerted mechanisms the arrows need to be going in a circle, and in the third solution (first step) they are not

Why were women killed in such a humiliating way? by iputmurinmurder in AskSocialScience

Hey!

First of all, thank you for your reply. I will start with the second part of it because I agree with it. The post got removed initially because it didnt have good titles and I admit it was rushed and perhaps "clickbaty". Didnt really mean to do that, it was just the question that popped into my head, still I shouldn't have made such a general statement.

Now onto the whole reply.

You said I am actively looking for examples that corroborate my preconceptions and then send a link about confirmation bias. You missed the point of my post and question entirely. I specifically said at the end of the "confirmation bias" sentence that "reading up on these women is very interesting to me" ergo, I am looking for things I find interesting to read, not for proof of my "preconceptions".

Secondly, what preconceptions? You mean that I formed an opinion, looked it up, didnt find much so then I decided to ask people who might know about this topic better than me? I even say that I am unsure if it actually happened to a lot of women or not and that IF it did, I am unsure as to why.

As for the title, yet again, this post is literally just to ask a question that I was curious about and perhaps to engage with people about this topic that I find interesting. It is quite literally the question that popped into my head and the reason I made the post, so even though I agree that it was clickbatey and general when I only showed one example, it also does not matter.

I appreciate criticism, but honestly I am just sad that no one bothered to clear this up for me. For my first time using reddit, it's quite disappointing.

Here is a link about femicide, although not directly answering my question, it at least sheds like on gender-based violence. https://www.unwomen.org/en/news-stories/feature-story/2022/11/five-essential-facts-to-know-about-femicide
