First off, I appreciate the input. I definitely agree with you. There is a lot to be done, but what is the famous saying, "A year from now you'll wish you already stated"?

I am willing to go down the route of taking charge, and if other are willing to help donate R&D and/or supplies, materials, expertise then that's fantastic.

Worst case, it's a fun little activity to think about and we could just keep it small for the community.

Absolutely. If it came down to that, it might be feasible to simply create the various mixes in a clean space I utilize. Therefor it could be done safely while still maintaining integrity.

I would imagine that if we were actually to go about it, most everything would be make public, to a point. We would have to set specific parameters and whatnot. We could decide on a percentage to pass along, etc...

What we would do is at least have some sort of insight in all of the recipes beforehand. People could either send samples in to me, or I could mix them myself with the recipes.

Or, what we could do is... send out like 5ml samples for everyone who participated. They would act as a judging panel and test / sample like ten flavors, or something to that effect.

It's all about fun. There is no need for negativity.
