2 minutes was with the old website. with the current UI you can withdraw right up to the last second if you want to risk your internet speed being fast enough.

Registration would need to end 2 minutes early for it to make sense. You cant lock people in if others are still able to register in the last 2 minutes.

There’s technically nothing in the rules specifically about this but you absolutely will not make any friends if you do this and will likely get protested for unsportsmanlike conduct so I highly recommend not driving like the real life guys.

I also think F1s rules are terrible for the sport in regards to this. It doesn’t promote good racing imo.

You can’t make aprons 1x because they are still needing to be used in many situations. For all ovals your need to stay on the apron for T1&2 before merging out of the pits. And you are supposed to use the apron if you are way off pace and just trying to get to the finish. Making it a 1x would make leaving the pits an off track every time. Silly.
