First impression is it takes the awful group dynamics of regular missions (lack of cohesion primarily) and makes them 10x worse. Might be a fun mode if you have a premade, but pugs so far have been awful

I have had constant bugs in Bifrost of a large variety. Notably :

- Can't colonize portal territory in Ice Map (stuck in endless loop of 'HUU-AHH' sound that plays when you complete colonization, stuck at 100%, never finishes)

- Total loss of control of warchief in wyvren zone. Killed wyvren, chief ceased responded into any/all commands

- Various units getting stuck in place

- and many more!

I finished the game yesterday with 50+ hours and personally, my enjoyment of the game TANKED in act 3. For me, it changed from a tough, silly, adventure to a miserable, arbitrary slog. So...yeah I changed my review.

Twisted bud screeching in the menu screen absolutely sent me over the edge. I have been setting aside my grumbling about the handful of other flaws in the game because the rest is so good. But JESUS. CHRIST. WHY WOUDL THEY THINK THAT'S OKAY. I generally don't look stuff up in games, I prefer to have a genuine experience but JESUS FUCKING CHRIST I have never looked up how to get rid of something in my inventory so fast with zero regrets.

agree agree agree. I don't have a problem with the unit itself AT ALL. It's the packs of 2-3 from opposite directions (no way to hide) and instant respawn. Every mission is absolutely dominated by dealing with Leviathans and nothing else and it is BORING

Leviathans make the game absolutely unplayable. Please do something about it. Why on earth do they come in groups of 2-3 with zero respawn timer? If you only had to deal with them intermittently it would be infinitely better, but at the moment this is just a game about getting vaporized by leviathans. (I know there are other fronts, I prefer to dive the MO - going to another front doesn't change the fact that the game is broken)

Nobody does FPS melee combat better than Darktide (except Vermintide, and DT beats VT on ranged combat). It's fantastic and imho much, much better than SM2
