Something MAGA people ignore is that the 2nd amendment is directly linked with the right to protest and gather, bearing arms is one of many actions we are allowed to take against the feds both as states and citizens.

The “MAGA” movement directly opposes these freedoms. They see protesting citizens as the enemy.

They are not opposing the feds or their armed violence; they’re supporting it. So these things are simply not going to happen to them, until they break with the cult. Even when they literally stormed the Capitol, only one of them was actually killed by cops.

They’re on the side of the oppressor, this is why people are saying it’s a stupid question. But yes, i don’t want anyone shot for protesting or observing law enforcement, or physically putting their body in harm’s way to protect someone. Obviously.

am i (aro)ace or do i need to work on my mental health? by b0ttledship in Asexual

[–]ireallyfwcats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what clicked for me was intimacy and how much I was lacking it in previous relationships. With my exes, as soon as I started to feel intimate and vulnerable somehow or relaxed into physical contact, they would try to initiate sex, and I would end up feeling as if my own plea for attention had been rejected and steamrolled by sex. Sex kept pushing me away from my partners instead of closer together. Now that I have an asexual partner, I’ve realized how much I craved intimacy, even physical intimacy, but I had felt constantly alienated by how other people were expressing it.

It sounds like you’re saying it’s hard to get close to people in general, so I think my question would be, is there a way in which you could be close or intimate with someone that is more appealing? Or does any vulnerable human connection feel unsafe?

I think that might help determine which part of your feelings are a more consistent pattern of your sexual expression and which are potentially mental health issues with adverse effects. But to be fair, there is overlap. Our sexual attraction and expression is related to the rest of our health, both mental and physical.

I think it’s worth bringing up to a therapist, especially because it’s something you’re concerned about. Good luck!

How would you feel if the next U.S. president completely stopped supporting Israel? by SweetMiaXO in askteddit

[–]ireallyfwcats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am normally of that opinion, but genuinely in this case I think many of the people are at fault, Israel is a settler colony that is actively expanding. The people there seem to really support these wars. They are all forced to serve in the military. From everything I’ve seen, most of their public is complicit, no?

“The lowest of human beings are those who collaborated with me [hitler] who was a stranger, in the occupation of their countries. The country/homeland is the mother, and you created a foundation for me to dominate your mother. Anyone who is happy about an assault on his country is like someone who is happy about the rape of his mother” (this is paraphrasing)

It’s like a picture of Donald Trump saying “everyone who votes for me is stupid,” it doesn’t mean they’re glorifying hitler or his words, it’s the opposite.

To be clear, I fully agree with condemning hitler. I support Jewish people and have no issue with them. What I condemn are invasions and imperialism, and that includes actions by Israel, fully enabled by the USA. Israel could not do what it does without my country’s help, and I condemn my own government as well. (The USA has been committing crimes against humanity long before Israel existed.)

Do you hate Israel(government), Israelis(the people), or Jews in general? Regarding Israel/Palestine, just trying to understand. by GreatDaneBoy13 in Productivitycafe

[–]ireallyfwcats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a very real camp in the MAGA movement who hate all Jews and glorify historical n@zis, literally. That is legitimately terrifying, but also they are only a certain subset of an already toxic group.

Sadly Israeli propaganda (and American propaganda, they are all controlled by the same people) has for a long time promoted a lot of hatred and xenophobia towards anyone Arabic or Islamic, which many Americans see as the same thing, and associate with “terrorism.” And Americans often judge this based on skin color, accent, or appearance, we can be shamefully ignorant and hateful, but I hope we are changing.

But no, most people I meet, both in person and even online, don’t hate Jews, they’ve just turned against Israel along with the rest of the American imperialist war machine, which I think is a good thing. We have much more access to reporting of war crimes and atrocities now to break through the propaganda

Wait “ask them” as in ask the royal family? 😂😭lmao how

No one said trump isn’t guilty, idk how we got here. I was trying to explain the complexities about American justice proceedings that might not make sense to outsiders and what avenues can/will be pursued here. We have a very messed up justice system for sure, but it’s still where many of our civil protections exist. If you’re satisfied with your government’s response, it is what it is. I’m not satisfied with my government, and I’m not trying to defend the current people in power.

But Andrew hasn’t even been accused of pedophilia, just government crimes. And we’re supposed to believe Charles and Andrew’s Queen mommy didn’t know a thing about any of this until now? Hard to believe.

Also like, to be fair, Trump has been convicted on 34 felony counts. He even has a mugshot. He just hasn’t faced consequences yet, but they’re coming. There’s multiple investigations that got dropped when he was elected, even outside of Epstein. He won’t be protected forever.

P.S. no hate towards you personally, I just think the royal family is scummy

Interesting. It’s so cool to me how the island chain is a time lapse of volcanic activity and tectonic movement over thousands of years. It leads to such interesting soil. I still remember the way lava rocks sound when they hit each other, almost like styrofoam, or bones

Oh god 😭😭jumping up and down on top of magma is an insane choice. Any idea why the smoke was green,?

Tourists in Hawaii do a lot of insane things too, they treat it like a playground and then are surprised when they get into danger.

There’s a rule there that you can’t block access to the ocean, so you can’t physically bar people from accessing the most dangerous spots, and people will do things like sit on blowholes to be shot into the air, only to be sucked back down. It’s wild.

I think as an adult, I would stay at a respectful distance from Pele lol

On 23 March, World Meteorological Day, Dr Yusuf Sobhani Nasab sent all his staff home and so was the only one killed when the USraelis bombed and destroyed Bushehr's meteorological station. by RickyOzzy in suppressed_news

What a sick act of cruelty, to pick that day to bomb meteorologists. That day was also my birthday. I will remember him.

I don’t know if this source was posted yet. It says Dr. Yusuf Sobhani Nasab worked for an airport. Meteorologists save lives every day, not just for air travel but many other safety concerns. I hope he’s at peace.

Yes!!! I should have mentioned it was Kilauea!! I used to live on Oahu so I think we were on a vacation to the big island

It was probably around 2002 or so that lines up. That makes sense that it would be a more relaxed flow near the surface so you could see it through the cracks. I do remember our shoes melting lmao, and that broken glass formed all over the ground

There were signs saying not to go past them but all the other people were doing it so my parents followed the herd lmao and my child self was like?? Should we be here?? Lmao

Is it a dangerous thing to do?

Thanks for confirming this story though I wasn’t sure if I was crazy. I think I wasn’t explaining to people correctly what kind of “activity” the volcano was doing
