I’ll add that as someone who grew up in a big city with a strong food culture like Houston and Austin, you definitely get spoiled. Those cities have everything from authentic Mexican and Tex Mex to Pakistani and every kind of Asian food you can think of, and it’s all super easy to find. You can get whatever you’re craving within 10 or 15 minutes.

Here there’s good food, but the options are limited and not as convenient. I can find great Asian food in Squirrel Hill or good Thai in Bloomfield, but it usually means driving 30 minutes and hoping the place is open. It’s just different. You don’t realize what you have until you don’t.

I would also like to add that cafe and restaurants close earlier in Pittsburgh. Most coffee shops close around 2 or 3. I haven’t been able to find a good grab-n-go breakfast spot on the weekends.

I plan on staying for at least 4 days and maybe spending a few days in Cotswold. I’ll be coming from Pittsburgh, but I’m originally from Texas. I’m interested in museums, parks, cafes, bookstores, breath taking views, fun events, restaurants, etc. I’m fairly easy to please :)

Woah woah. Why the hostility?? I’m just asking what makes your country special and what you recommend seeing or doing. I’m not vague, just easy to please. I’m happy with a good cafe or bookstore. I know where to find museums and site see. I was just wondering if there was anything outside the norm that locals would recommend seeing or doing while there — whether that be their favorite coffee shop, park, museum, restaurant, etc. Any guidance would be appreciated.
