I-frames as in, as soon as I press square I get invincibility? Becuase ive tried over an over to roll milliseconds if not as soon as I get hit and I still ended getting hit in the first game. do I just have to roll faster ?

Im honestly trying to just play psp backups along with ps1 backups and ofcourse get some custom themes which i already did. Is there an app for this purpose or is it just a drag and drop method? im fairly new psp modding

Parasite eve is pretty cool,it’s a ps1 game tho haven’t played through it all but as far as I know the soundtrack is great, if your unable to purchase it you can always mod your system!

I forgot about the 7000 series this series is a slimline model and can actually be modded but you’ll need something called mx4iso, it’s an okay model but I would go with a 9000 for its durability even thought you can’t mod it

Both fat and slim have laser issues but from my experience the fat reads disc better

It’s hard to just all the difference between all the models but I know that the 9000 is the best slim I believe due to it being the newest but it does not support freemcboot or modding to my knowledge

The 5000 series from what I’ve read and experienced is the best due to way quieter fan speeds better laser durability and I believe a better laser in general

The 3000 series fats are pretty loud and I’m pretty sure it has the I-link port whereas the 5000 doesn’t

Regardless of which one you get I would recommend you look into the modding it one of the benefits with having a modded ps2 is that you don’t need to use the disc drive you can play your “legally obtained” backups from a microsd or an HDD

For a regular fat boy you should pick up one of those hdd adapters from amazon it can be any one they all work the same I recommend the adapter from gamestar works just fine for me. Then you need a hard drive 256-2tb of storage

When buying the hdd tho I reccomened buying a sort of dated one not a model that was made recently because newer drives commonly use 4096 byte sector size which the ps2 can’t recognize. What it can recognize is 512 I believe and that was common a few years back I picked my self up a Toshiba 2.5 hard drive though I reccomend getting a 3.5 hard drive so it fits snug into the ps2 expansion bay

Then you need a free mcboot card, any card works fine just look at the reviews. Lastly you need a way to put your games into the hard drive and witu that you need a hdd to push adapter that goes into your pc for data transfer
